He doesn't like it if others are cuddling up & he's not; he didn't like it that Kate wouldn't confide in him last night but chose Jonny & Jade; he got between Jade & PJ in bed last night - to stop them from getting up to something- and an ex-girlfriend told a newspaper that he's a jealous person ( at the same time as selling nude photos of him). Apparently we can't look at each episode in isolation but need to look at the theme developing.
Perhaps our resident psyches. Fr. Jack et al can expand on this

i dont think spencer deserves to win. hes done nuthin. the only reason ppl like him is cuz us gals fancy him and u boyz like it cuz hes so lazy. You dont win bb for being lazy. u have to earn it like craig and brian did. imo alex or adele should win, theyve put so much effort into everything.

Not sure what spencer is doing exactly- did you see how he inserted himself between Sophie and Kate (with his back to kate) while Kate & sophie were doing the washing up soon after sophie arrived? I don't know whether he has a problem (jealousy/envy whatever) with people pairing off in general, or if he has specific feelings about individuals, Kate, Jade or whoever.

Spencer deserves to win much more then the other two creeps.

Being lazy is one thing, but Spencer is so lazy he doesn’t even keep himself clean. What a pig, so far I have seen him repeatedly digging for gold up his nose and then closely examining it, sucking and gnawing on his fingernails till I had to switch the feed before I puked, and last night Jade had to force him to clean himself in the middle of the night cause he went to bed with chicken crap on his clothes. What a complete and disgusting slob.

There is a big difference from being cool/laidback and being a arrogent lazy arse and waste of space like Spencer is. I think Kate is into him as she is playing the game in pairing up to keep her in there. I mean, all they have done is hug and kiss although they do deserve each other!

Spencer can be funny when he makes the effort. I don't think he's shy - he's quite belligerent in the DR & to the authority of BB generally. He doesn't talk to many of the HMs apart from PJ & sometimes Kate, Alex & Adele. He doesn't do that much if the girls or Alex are willing to do it. He's said he isn't going to talk to the new guy. So why is he never nominated & why should he win?

Jealousy is perfectly natural. That is the fundamental point worth accepting. Spencer, a young male, is naturally going to feel jealous if he is 'left out' by his a target mate.
I can quite understand how he might like to go off and sulk, if he continues to be ignored to some extent by the girls.
Each time he is ignored/shunned, he is forced to reallign allegiances, and this in itself is unsettling. However, it looks as though spencer remains VERY well balanced, and has the energy/wit to nominate the correct targets when the situation is right.

Personally, i like spencer. If you listen to what he says, the way that he says it, you must realise that there is quite a smart guy in there. The thing is, people can easily overlook it, considering the way he dresses, smokes, drinks etc.
Spencer is a real match for adele in winning this game. I bet spencer realises that adele is his only real barrier to winning 70,000.

Very good pint Lucy! I think he is intelligent, but maybe he is just lazy and doesn't apply himself to anything. As soon as he has to put in effort, or gets bored, he throws in the towel.

Also his brooding style seems to go with this jealousy business, and is not a good quality imho, and I do not belive excessive jealousy IS a natural thing, but it can serve to mess your life up if you can't control it.

Just because someone is intelligent doesnt mean they are career chasers. Being smart in anything, doesnt mean the person also have the drive to succeed and make progress in any given job.

A personal admission, i was a simple cashier in a supermarket for a while once my degree was done. You see, i just didnt want to think about anything after many years of reading. Doing something really simple - for a little while, can be useful for some people.

* personally, i think everyone should try being a cashier in a supermarket for 3months (kinda like national service).

I can appreciate wanting a mindless job after a period of intense study, but I don't believe that that is the case with Spencer.
I'm yet to see Spencer do much to earn winning. A pretty face is not enough altho' in this shallow society of others, it counts a great deal. Would Jade be more acceptable if she were attractive?

No, her looks are irrevelant. The fact remains, that she cant keep her mouth shut at all. Imagine trying to be her friend, you know she couldnt be relied upon to keep secrets.

The way that jade acts, the way she talks about everyone to everyone, just makes me regard her quite poorly.
And she still acts like a young child at times, which is what makes me like her least of all.
