The housemates have been discussing the "new person" who is replacing Sandy on Sunday. When did they find out?

Bigbrother probably hasn't told them, its common known fact that if someone walks out they are replaced.

This is due to the fact that you have to run it at a set level that is 10 weeks, thus you have to have 10 people! 1 out per week

They probably assume (quite rightly) that they will get a replacement as they did with Sunita. They havent gottold (although it probab;y been said in contract or somewhere that a rerplacement person will come in if someone walks to keep everything on time.

I think i heard Jade saying "i cant wait for the new housemate tomorrow" and she said that last night. They obviously think someone will come in today (did sophie come in on a saturday?? )

Sophie entered on Sunday afternoon at about 1:30pm(ish). The new housemate will enter at 7pm on BBLB on E4 tomorrow.

I am sure that it got mentioned somewhere that nobody on that show would be included in the house.

yes, thats right, it says that the only people who did not appear on "how not to get on big brother" were 12 h/m and 12 stand bys

I'm sure at least one or two of the housemates said they were in that show. Kate and Jonny I think... I didn't see it though.
