Inspired by the All time ranking Big Brother Housemate poll conducted by cheeks each year which you can find here , with the results here , I am doing my own Corrie Character version one. Here is how it'll work. Below are the 44 characters I have chosen for this first poll. You must list your favourite to least favourite in a post in this thread - 1 being your favourite. Make your list as long as you wish, but the longer the better. The character at the bottom of your list will recieve 0 points, 2nd from the bottom - 1 point... and so on. Voting will close on Wednesday 24th August. Get voting

Shouldn't the character at the top recieve 44 points and the character in 2nd place recieve 43 points etc, since the character at the bottom of the list isn't nescessarily the least favourite character?

Yes, but some people do not list ALL the 44 characters. That is why I stated that you can make your list as long as you want, and that is why the character at the bottom gets 0, and 1, and 2 and so on...
Which is WHY that the longer your list is - the better your characters have a chance of scoring

I was thinking about doing one of these for EastEnders but I didn't think it'd be popular. No offence to any members on the soap forum but they're generally lazier over here, I didn't think it'd work well.

I don't think it is going to work well either, but thank you for giving me your list. If I get less than 15 entries, I won't bother posting results as there'd be no point

No WE'RE NOT! It's just that the soap forum has more indepth discussion, these lists are pointless! I could understand if you all talked and discussed the characters you were voting for in a historical perspective - such as their best storylines or their death - but no one does, that's what I call lazy! Just producing a list of characters.......boring!

That did actually happen in the first thread I did but it gradually faded out. People stopped putting reasons in and just voted.

Maybe, the next time I start one I'll tell people to say the reason they voted for them and if the said character get's through each round, a different thing about them which makes them their favourite. It could appeal to more people then.
