They should probably let him choose.

Considering that he is supposed to be 'posh' then he would probably pick the rich side.

I reckon the new person will automatically be put on the rich side as that is where Sandy was when he left.

Maybe there wont be an empty bed in the rich side. Depends who wins the task, what side they pick & who (if anyone) they choose to be on that side with them.

Maybe after the task tonight the winner will have to include "the unknown new person" in their choice, so the winner may determine tonight where the new HM goes.

Badgerprincess,
the winner HAS to pick 3 people.

The POOR side have had the best week. They've had to be involved in tasks and showing a bit of gumph. The rich side however, after their binge, have just got more and more depressed.

Oh. I wasn't aware of that (don't have E4 : ( ) . So does the channel 4 website: "Well, next comes the tricky bit - he or she will then be given the chance to nominate up to three other housemates to go with them. ".

I got the "3 people" from A Bevan's report on this very website.

(presumably from the same team of intrepid journos who though Alison and Lynne were STILL housemates!)

Ideally we need another source...

Mustget...etc

That's a bit like saying that people had a better time during the blitz than before or after it!

Can we say "necessity"?
Can we say "mother of invention"?

Yes, I most certainly do think.
People come together when they have a common cause, be it a task, an enemy, celebration whatever. As things stand, the richmates have everything handed to them on a plate so they naturally become demotivated. However, the fact that people are uniting is not an indicator of their ENJOYING themselves, which is what I understood your original posting to suggest.

cheers honey

Did you enjoy the dart task?

I loved it, but I wish they'd remove those damn bars.
