Can someone please explain to me what it is about this song? every where i go it seems to be playing and all my mates love it, but i realy don't like it. I was just wondering if any one else agreed with me, or if i was alone with this opinion?

I love it. It is just the type of thing I want to hear at this part of the year for some reason.

Was that the song that was played on TOTP a few days ago?

If yes, then I quite liked it but I have only heard it that once.

It struck me as better than the somewhat overhyped James Blunt and reminded me a little of David Gray whom I like a lot.

He seems like a JAMES BLUNT clone to me. Can't stand it.

When I first heard it, I seriously thought it was McFly ! Not because the voices sounded like them - I wouldn't recognise them if they spoke to me - but the melody and lyrics sound a lot like their recent output. The song's not too bad, it's just bland. It's 'nice'.

i quite like it too - first time i saw it, it was with the video, which is pretty engaging, so that always helps.

i expect people will say its just crap, and is exactly the same as james blunt tho'.

oh. they already have.

(actually, to be fair, i did say in another thread that they weren't a million miles apart musically)

I think it's a great song, the rhythm he tends to use throughout the album tends to be mostly like that used in Athlete's first album.

Yeah, I thought it was them too! But I don't like it. It's very bland, and you can almost sing along to it the first time you hear it, the lyrics are that obvious. Which isn't always a bad thing, but in this case - it is.

I first saw the video and song a while ago on Viva Plus and it was good then, but recently the song just gets on my nerves.

I enjoyed it but it is a bit jinxy. I have listened to it twice and on Monday my friend was not well. When I played it on Wednesday my cat died. I don't think I will play it again.

Really? I thought of him as the Canadian version of Gavin DeGraw

I still like it, but there is such a thing as being overplayed

I dont know why they do it, it ruins the song and disuades you from going to buy it

It's good for a jangly, shallow feelgood song.

I usually prefer songs with a little more emotional depth though.

I agree - I thought this too. It sounds like the slightly upbeat, hum - a-long kind of thing that they do. Was surprised when the radio said it was some Powter bloke!

But like the Blunt song, I'm sick of hearing it all over the place. At best it is - "nice".

There's a few good tracks on there, but he seems to use the same drum loop throughout.

My brother bought the album and plays it to death. Ugh, I can't stand it! Most of the songs, he sings in this awful falsetto voice!
