O2 is down.....
...yet again.
For the last 1/2 hour or so, i've been trying to call a number on o2 using my house phone and I keep getting told the number isn't recognised. Also I can't call out on my phone to anyone, and when I tried ringing my mobile on the house phone, the number wasn't recognised. I'm pretty annoyed about this.

I had trouble with texts around that time too. Glad it appears to be working now though.

I noticed I wasn't getting the area code on my screen earlier, usually comes up on the screen what area code I'm in, could have been related.

Mine has been a pain today! I couldn't send texts from about 3-3:30 this afternoon and also between 10-11:00 tonight. I couldn't receive calls between this last time tonight either (not sure about the afternoon - didn't try).
Seems to be working now though. |

I emailed O2 about the issue of texts not being sent at times (mainly in the evening) a few days ago & they said they were aware of an issue & it would be resolved soon. Whenever it's happened to me in the past the top-up line has also been down, not sure if that's related or just a coincidence. |

Everything seems to be working here but the 1471 service was saying network busy for a few trys. Seems ok now. Also a very odd now and again it can take to trys to send a text.

Yep, the parents are having the same thing here today. Trying to convice them to leave O2 and come on over to Vodafone with me is now proving really easy to do.

Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone all have a weak signal most of the time in Andover where i'm doing my IT Course, O2 on the other hand, gets a strong signal more than those do so i dont really have a choice

If I were I Andover loads I'd probably have stuck with O2 too, you're right about the network quality of the others not being the greatest. Though I'm not surprised you are having a trouble convincing your dad to move over to O2.
I just phoned O2 for 2 PAC numbers for my parents and the woman on the phone said she had given out loads more than normal today, and at one point they had over 300 calls in the customer service que. Not a good day for their churn figures. |

Yesterday ..... when getting my a-level results
I was sitting on a bench outdoors ringing someone.... Was all jummy and sounded awful... I stood up and signal went from 1 to 7 bars...It goes up and down more than a lift in a busy shopping centreWhen in the building... i could not get more than 2 bars.... Useless... Just organised a port for a week today
