Sophie seemed a strange choice to me, Alex has never he really talked to her.

I think he's been clever and taken an insurance housemate. He'll almost certainly be up for eviction, but now Sophie has spent 2 weeks in the rich side I suspect she will be too, and I suspect the public will vote Sophie out.

if the poor side don't start in-fighting, then it could be Alex v Sophie (and maybe Jade) - I can't see Adele getting that many, she doesn't seem to upset anyone.

And Kate said she'd sleep in the living room (though whether she actiully does or not remains to be seen) but she CLEARLY is very concious of her telly image.

I've said once and will say it again. Jade is a waste. She can't nominate this week so Alex should have taken someone else. Alex is guaranteed 4 votes from the poor side.

Silly boy should have spent another week in the poor side, with all the rich lot, and would definitely not have been nominated by anyone other than Kate and maybe Sophie for at least a couple of weeks!

I think he has played it pretty smart, he is going to be up for nomination but it depends who he is up with, probably Jade and Sophie, if thats the case Alex won't be the one to walk.

Not sure on that. I think Spencer knows, so it may have been spread through the group. Plus it's unlike Jade to keep her gob shut.

On reflection, I think everyone is seriously over analysing this. He has purely chosen the people he gets on with the best. I did think for a minute that he was being clever but it seems that he really is a just stupid boy.

I agree, I think he took Jade out of sympathy. She is two-faced but seemed to be the one who suffered the most in the poor side last week.

It's just Sophie I can't understand, although he did mention in the bedroom that at least he could be sure no one would pee on the toilet seat.

He definitely enjoyed seeing Kate, PJ and Spencer being left on the other side.

I agree PJBJ he's clearly not thinking of this in terms of BB being the poularity contest that it is at the end of the day. Another week of chickpeas wouldn't have killed him, and it might just have been enough to see him through to the end of the series. As I've said before, he's a silly boy!

Exactly! I'm sure he missed on purpose. Especially as he was the only one who really had to "think" about what he should aim for.

I read in the Live Updates here that Jade told Alex that PJ and Spencer were making a fool of him/taking the piss out of him and Alex replied that he would think carefully about what Jade had told him, therefore I assumed that this was why Alex left Spencer and PJ in "hell". I only have CH4 but I would be interested to know if any E4 viewers saw Jade saying this to Alex and can elaborate.

WHY? If I was Alex, with what has allegedly been said by PJ and Spencer, I would have chosen the same. So what has he done exactly? And why should he sleep badly, except that BB did give him the poisoned chalice?
