I howled watching todays Neighbours when Bobby was chatting to the Japanese visitor warning him and his friends to stay out of jail and the visitor responded with 'Bea Smith, the Freak ... all very good fun' obviously thinking Bobby was talking about Cell Block H !!!

What a fantastic little reference to a previous Grundy/Channel 10 show. I love these sorts of little in jokes and references, especially as so many of the current Neighbours cast appeared in Prisoner. Good to see that the show hasn't been forgotten in Oz.

In the current cast (as well as Harold and Lyn) Susan, Lou and Paul all featured in Prisoner. Loads of ex-Neighbours actors also featured in Prisoner over the years.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if Maggie Kirkpatrick and Val Lehman were to pop up in Neighbours ? But who could they play ? Be great if either was introduced as a love interest for Lou and Harold, a la Rosie Hoyland a couple of years (played by Maggie Millar who was also in Prisoner).
