Spencer and PJ - Shameful!
The more I watch, the more I think Spencer and PJ have behaved terribly tonight - and completely immaturely as well.
Spencer, mentioning the comment made by the girls about taking the fellow girls in was atrocious - he said something like "they'd only made that decision so they could stick their fingers up each other's f*nnys". Did anyone else hear this - I'm pretty sure I wasn't imagining it.... I hate to think, as a lawyer, how PJ would react if a judge's decision went against him. He would probably throw all his toys out of his pram. I wouldn't want him to be my legal representative. Especially as he seems so keen to resort to physical violence just because he didn't get picked... It's nothing but complete bitterness and I sincerely doubt that if they had won that they would have picked Alex. Alex won the task (fair and square this week - as everyone had a go!) and he was right to keep Spencer and PJ in the poor side - as far as I can see! Lee |

You heard right, that's what he said. He was outside at the BBQ at the time.

Your dead right, why should Alex pick Spencer and PJ when they're calling him? And they wouldn't have picked him.
Good on yer Alex |

Shameful behaviour from the pair of them, as for PJ well acting like a spoilt child who couldn't get his own way

A lawyer is anyone employed in law, and from my experience is a word NEVER used by a solicitor or barrister to describe their occupation. Basically PJ is (sorry, was) just a legal paper shuffler probably. And unqualified as I also read somewhere that he has not yet sat and passed his basic exams. NO WAY is he a solicitor... would you ask him for a legal consultation with his attitude? I'd be worried to have him shuffle my conveyancing papers - his head is just full of cr*p!

I feel quite sorry for them the first week they didn'tget a chance at being on the rich side and this week when almost everyone has been saying is is only fair that the poor people get to be on the rich side Alex picks Sophie who has been living the rich life for the last week any way.
If i was in Spencer and PJ place i would be complaining very loudly too. At least one of them should be on the rich side, Yeah the one who got left behind would be moaning. Sophie on the poor side would be reacting like Kate and Johnny and would accept that it is fair. Choosing Spohie was the wrong decison. |

...I've posted a long view of why I think both Spencer and PJ have acted the way they have under the "Spencer a sour loser" thread...
Synopsis: Spencer was suffering nicotine withdrawal and anyone that hasn't been through that won't understand. PJ felt a sense of injustice at Sophie being chosen after he thought everyone agreed that the poor side should swap if possible....as a lawer/barister/solicitor/clerk/human I'd say it's a good thing to have a feeling of injustice in the face of things you think are wrong...at the same time, he recoginsed that he was acting disproportionatly and has already appologised to Jade, citing the stress of the situation in mitigation, which I think is a damn good defence! I'll be interested to see how the events are edited for C4 now, and if Spencer and PJ are villified or if the whole thing is played down or if it's portrayed in the way I see it, which is two people under great stress snapping for a while before calming down and accepting their fate with allacraty. (excuse spelling - dyslexic at work!) |

negative reactions ....
PJ in particular reacted appaulingly ... I also think that Jonny's fears that the rich side will poison the new HM against him further reveals his negative attitude and think that he actually has a self esteem issue ...
Can't understand why Spencer doesn't go more with his philosophical side - sometimes i find him speaking words of wisdom, well beyond his years but now find him increasingly giving way to PJ's childishness. Go Alex!

calm down dude, I think Lee was referring to if/when PJ does pass his exams etc and becomes a lawyer. He/She wasn't actually saying PJ was a lawyer. You're quite correct: a solr or barrister would call themselves a solicitor or barrister, but when you're talking about a certain group of legally qualified people it is quite proper to refer to them under the head of "lawyer" as that includes members of the Bar and the Law Society. your assertion that ANYONE working "in law" is a Lawyer is not correct: many occupations such as accountants, licensed conveyancors etc are competent to offer legal advice within certain areas (finance etc) but are NOT Lawyers. ive been at work so ive only read about whats happening but if i was either of those two id be just as annoyed, and id like to hazard a guess that most of the people slagging them off for moaning would feel exactly the same if they were in that situation. theyre facing another week on a crappy diet in the poor side when one of the housemates stays in the rich side for the 2nd week running, and lets not forget theyre the two who were dealt the harshest hand last week by not even getting a go at the task.
id started to warm to alex a touch recently but hes gone right back down again in my estimation in picking sophie. |

Except JAde doesn't have a vote this week. It's most likely all the poor will vote Sophie & Alex. Even if all the rich vote Spencer and PJ they still won't be up for eviction.

I have a feeling that though both were taking it quite badly, it's PJ who'll be villified. They started 'work' on him last week with the post-BJ-shrugoff he gave to Jade.. now the official news stories are describing his reaction much more so than Spencer's.I don't think PJ has any idea just how unpopular he is outside the house. If he keeps up the moaning, I can imagine him being nominated by quite a few people.. and then he'd be out. |

I think their behaviour is actually quite reasonable under the circumstances. |

Alex is obviously sensitive about this as he revealed he has had comments about it all his school life. His sexuality is his own business. PJ has got paranoia big time this morning. He was complaining that when the rich HMs were trying to wake them up, he didn't hear his name mentioned. grow up for goodness sake |

I think PJ and Spencer have finally showed themselves in their true light...maybe it's maturity or what I don't know - but I could see what they were like from day one and I've always hated PJ with gusto. I made a comment in an earlier posting that it's no wonder the legal "profession" (I use the term lightly, after expereinces over recent years) have sunk to the depths they have if that's the calaibre of people they consider employing.
The way he has also used Jade is disgusting...he's in it (scuse the pun, none intended) for what he can get, yet Jade actually thinks he likes her and is confusing sex/contact with love - as do many girls who don't realise how scummy some "men" can be when they will say anythign to get their "end away". Their juvenile sex-related remarks since day one have proved what shallow people they really are. Poor side for the Pond Life - woopie do!
