It could be my imagination.. or selective memory.. but this week's collection of poor housemates don't seem to be taking to the poor side of the house very well at all - at least not compared to last week.

Obviously there's resentment there from at least two of them (and probably from the other two, but hidden), which is bringing the group's mood down - but last week's group of poor housemates seem to launch themselves into it much better than this week's have. From the minute they went in, last week, most of them were planning ideas, and tasks, and jobs. This week, they're just sitting round looking glum.
Last week's poor side seem to have a lot more fun than the rich side.
I don't think that's going to be the case this week.

Kate and Johnny seemed to be a bit shocked that they were on the poor side. They havent said anything, but I think they were upset that they were on the poor side. What did they expect?

Hopefully, most of the poor house will walk as a result

I think Kate & Jonny will be the main workers on the "poor" side, what does anyone else think?

Please not - I want PJ and Spencer to rue the day they took the mick out of Alex. They sat back while Alex n Adele did so much of the work for the poor side and repaid Alex with jibes and bitchiness.
Alex could've been defeatist last week but he motivated himself and the others and kept spirits up.

I thought that the poor side were happier last week because they united against the situation and decided to make the most of it. I now suspect that was mostly due to Alex and Adele.

Wonder if Johnny & Kate will show a similar strength of character?

I think this week I shall really decide to like or dislike certain people on the poor side.I didnt particulaly like Adele until I saw how well she coped and just got on with it on the poor side.Alex did will too but the others appeared lazy.
This week they all seem gutted that they werent picked for the rich side.I also have to admit I hope PJ gets booted this week so he doesnt have a rich week.

To be fair to Jonny & Kate - altho' not my fave people - they were prepared to go on the poor side & I think Jonny would have volunteered as he felt he was only nominated because of being on the rich side. I haven't actually heard of those 2 moaning & they did set about trying to do things.

i think its really funny the way people dress according to what side they're on. Kate, who had been wearing jeans and crop tops, is now wearing plain warm clothes that dont exactly flaunt her figure. Its like when Alex kept wearing the bandana thing. Its funny!
