Spencer, indirectly, lost BB3 himself :

Sorry, can't start a thread but the key moment in BB3 has already happened. Spencer's nomination of Alison put her up for eviction against Sandy and Alex. If Alison had not been nominated, Alex would have gone. The ensuing problems wouldn't have happened and Spencer's reactions and subsequent failings in the eyes of the viewing public would not have gone against him.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing - obviously Spencer doesn't realise this yet ................................ but he will.

Thanks Jack - I'm a girlie by the way!!! ... Jade's mental age is interesting - I...I haven't met anyone quite like her outside a 'special educational needs' situation. ...Her reasoning doesn't seem to go beyond a child's level (and I've got four kids - my eldest, aged nine, being significantly more able on that level than Jade). Her reaction to being nominated for eviction by the public the first week was a bit of a warning sign - I dread what will happen when she finally does get evicted ... This is the bit I'm uncomfortable with about the whole thing - she has been used and manipulated by BB without much thought seemingly being given to her future wellbeing - lets throw the token thicko in there, it'll be good for the viewing figures. I don't like Jade at all but really pity her coming out of the house and been seen as the national laughing stock. Obnoxious and irritating she may be, some to a large extent it's not really her fault.
Kate seems to me to be incredibly insecure which she tries very hard to mask. I think she is very competitive with other females and sees them as a threat. Much has been made of her attaching herself to the strongest housemates, as she perceived them, ie Alison and Spencer. I have a slightly different take on this. I think she attached herself to Alison because she saw Alison as the least threat to her.

Anyway I'll shut up now having probably bored the tits off everyone!!!

Nickers,
I agree about Jade: Calrissian also thinks she's a bit "retarded" too I think. So that's 3 of us.
I also agree that, whilst Jade annoys the **** out of me sometimes, I am beginning to find some of the other posters' comments about her rather offensive as she seems no more in control of her actions than anyone else. I know she's ugly, but I see Jonny as ASTOUNDINGLY ugly, yet people don't compare him to any kind of animal. Jade is ugly - nuff said, she can't ought about it. Anymore than I can stop being beautiful .

She (JAde) will be a national laughing stock, but she can't really say she wasn't warned (they're briefed about such things during the intake process) - though perhaps her legal guardians should have got more involved: I don't know her living arrangements.

I don't agree with your views on Kate, ie that she allies with the least threatening person. If so, surely another MALE would have been less of a threat (howsover small that threat was) than Alison. I still think she just needs someone to look after her.

And my size D-cup tits are STILL here!!!

Jack

May have exagerated his cup size somewhat.

I agree with you about Kate needing someone to look after her - she clearly didn't have that in the rich side last week and became quite withdrawn because of it. Shame her and Jade continue to be on different sides because, despite Jade's bitching, when they're together they seem to get on quite well. It'll be interesting to watch what happens this week with Kate and the guys - Jonny could be good for her in a matey sort of way.
Interesting point someone made about people being attracted to those who they physically resemble. I have come across quite a few couples who are uncannily alike - or their partners resemble someone in their immediate family. You often find people with big eyes, for example, go for someone else with similarly striking eyes etc.

What's happening with Spencer and Kate now? I feel like I haven't seen it for ages. I they still not ,er, talking?

If kate doesn't attach to Spencer, Jonny may well be a nice safe choice for her.
hmmmm.

Totally agree with you fan-at-ic, the way these threads are going about spencer and that it is 15 year old girls who fancy him, proves to me the opposite, some people are showing how immature they are with their constant sniping, I'm in his/her gang so I hate him/her cos they don't get on in the house, it's pathetic, I find both Alex and Spencer interesting in their own ways and don't dislike either of them.

They were up all night baking bread and chatting. They talked about the threesome incident and why she had gone to Jonny to talk about it. It was all very sweet and they are slowly getting closer together. Bless.

What is so good about spencer? What does he do? And why are som many people infatuated with him? How can someone this dull be favourite to win?
As soon as hes up for eviction i'm gona vote!!!!!!
Who's gona join me??
”

I will! he isn't the worst person in the house but is definitely not my favourite, I think the only reason he is fave to win is because all the teenage girls love him, how shallow! I would much rather someone like Jonny or Adele won who have a personality and are wicked people!

Exactly. I think he's a bit wet looking, but anyway, he is so boring. Does he ever say anything interesting? He's more interesting on mute

Definitely, it really annoys me how all the 'good looking' people stay in longer even though they have the personality of a Hampster. I mean Adele has looks and she's cool same with Jonny. (you may notice I like these two )

Let me make one thing clear before I start, I do not want Spencer to win.
However I live in Cambridge and my mate knows his dad so I like him coz of that. [not sure why]
I think he is really good looking although I am slightly older and dont usually like younger men.
In my eyes, there is no doubt he is popular because of his "dont give a shit" attitude and he is laid back which all the young girlies love.
I think that he went in with a strategy, and is playing the game to win.I hope he does well coz hes a Cambridge boy but I want Jonny to win.

Sandy and Spencer once joked that Sandy dis the morning shift and Spencer did the evening shift. Spencer is the most interesting one in there but he only seems to come alive after midnight, if you're watching it during the day or evening he doesn't appear to do much as he's catching up on his sleep. I think he's only been to bed three times before 6am in the last three weeks.

He might appear lazy etc to us, but his role in the group is still the father/mother/leader/peacemaker. It's interesting that during disputes we see him interjecting to try and diffuse the tension. It is for this reason that Spencer will win (this might change once I have seen what the new chap is like)

I just want to add that I'm certainly not a 15 year old girly - being a 33 y/o male, but I still prefer Spencer over anyone in the house, because of his attitude.

He's the main one in the house who refuses to see BB as in charge and questions everything, always looking for an angle and an advantage.

Personally, I'd be spending my time in the house trying to figure out ways to mess with any and all plans the production crew might come up with without going far enough to merit a strike, just to amuse myself...and I can see that same attitude in Spencer.

He's also shown himself to have much more going on in his head than the "go out, get drunk, sleep around" plans a lot of the others (and people generally) seem obsessed with. I was very impressed with his conversations with Kate where he expressed his appreciation of the more subtle things in life for instance.

Do you think they are just showing the good bits about Spencer on C4 so he will still be in the house on his birthday????
Opaque

It's quite likely especially as Tim's birthday isn't during the run.

I'm wondering how much of Spencers guitar playing and singing (both very good in my opinion) gets shown on C4. Yes I'm sure it's bad when he's doing it for a couple of hours non-stop but it's something different and they are all joining in and singing different songs.

I think BB listened to my post about being so fed up of the metal rod banging the housemates were driven to for lack of any music...I suggested they put in a guitar or else I'd go down and throw one in myself just to shut up the racket! :

Incidentally, I've been trying to work out how to make a musical instrument from pasta and feathers.....
