No, I don't think he's showing off, he likes singing as demonstrated often without a guitar...and he's admited that he only knows certain songs.

I think the whole house has been desperate for some music - I posted something earlier begging for BB to give them a guitar as I couldn't stand any more metal rod banging tunes (banging not in the sense of good!).

I would have thought the other housemates would be quite able to ask for a go on the guitar if they thought they'd be any better or if they were fed up with his playing.
