Leanne, if you're really not watching it then why are you here writing and complaining about it?

I doubt they're going to 'give in' to complaints and end it early. I might think differently in a couple of weeks time, but I can't see what all the complainings about. I'm kinda enjoying it. I think the people who are complaining about it most are those that couldn't bear to lose the format that was there for the last two years.

Besides BB's going to be on our screens for a few more years after BB3.

BB3 is a shambles. I find this forum far more entertaining than BB3 itself. The way that hatred is stirred up by these people who seek to judge others by the way they look is an indication of the shallowness of the programme. I do see BB3 from time to time, but the buzz amongst my friends is that BB3 has had its day.

I trust they aren't watching it either, then.

They don't watch it as avidly as they watched BB1 and 2.

Simple economics for C4 will keep it going. Millions of phone calls every eviction night - even if C4 only get the 20% of income
- will keep them happy.
It also keeps the tabloids in stories and appeals to the ' youth '
demographic that advertisers want to tie in with.

Anyway Leanne - enjoy Italy ! I too won't be around as I'll be chillin in the sun( hopefully) to good music with all my mates.

The show seems to be stalling in places. However, viewing figures are fine, and the people they choose do seem to still get us all passionate about the show.
So, the show is not going to be the last.

They need to do some changes though. The decision by the upper echolons of C4 to quietly ignore what jade and pj got up to, was a ratings disaster choice.
I wont start a line on the censoring issue, however, it just seems like they got what they wanted, and then were so afraid to even mention it.

Viewing figures won't kill the show. (They aren't getting bad viewing figures.)

What will kill it is a perception that the public are disenchanted to the extent not that they wouldn't watch it, but that they wouldn't apply to be on next year's.

It'd be interesting to have a poll to see who'd apply to be on a BB run as BB1/BB2, and if they'd also apply to be on a BB run as BB3 - I think there'd be a frightening difference.

Actually Leanne, to be pedantic, your points would be perfectly valid if you could back them up. When you don't back them up and expect people to accept your opinion at face value you can hardly be surpised that people fight back.

If you're so fond of telling people to direct their anger towards those criticising how housemates look or about a housemate's sexuality, why don't you go and do that same thing. There's no shortage of posts that you could argue with, but instead you whinge about how BB should end 'because it's going nowhere'. Where's your proof that it's going nowhere?

I think Kate would have a good chance of winning the penalty shoot out, mas she looked very impressive in the 'number of keep-ups' challenge.
