Well, I'm 18 next week and would relish the prospect of sharing the house with someone of your age. That would be interesting. I'm sure there would be conflicts based on our age difference but they would be genuine ones, not manufactured on the fly, by the producers. More interesting than that, would be the things we would have in common along with the bonds we would make across the age divide. ”
Thankyou for your kind comments, I dont really think the British TV public are ready for a short, fat, bald headed & slightly senile grandfather on BigBrother4.
But my observations of the E4/C4 coverage has been very controvertial indeed, I have noticed that BigBrother has engineered most of the dissent within the house, including the original house meeting that Alex requested, was suggested by BigBrother, infact BigBrother has told all the housemate to talk to other HM's about their grievances.
Even the Weekly tasks have been designed to create maximum conflict, Todays mini task (composing a welcome song ) is one of the very few BigBrother decisions which have pleased me.
I am dissapointed in the BB3 Programme so far, ( I am not saying that it does not interest me ) but there are times where I feel very uncomfortable with the way in which HM's are being forced into conflict, while there is no release valve, if a HM snaps under pressure, what safeguards are in place to protect them from themselves or other HM's, This is a very popular programme, I hold the opinion that the producers are treading on very dangerous ground in inciting revolts and conflicts in such a situation.
