So, How do you come to your conclusions about the content of BB3, if you currently have a blank screen instead of E4, or are you paying for the Webstreams, I know I would not.

If you base your opinions on the C4 content, you are more gullable than I thought was possible for and educated person.

returning to a point made previously about applications for BB4

If BB4 was based on the BB1 & BB2 formula I would possibly consider applying, although my age would really exclude me being 48 this year.
I would not even consider applying for new series if it follows this current format, too much of nothing to do, but eat sleep and bicker at the other HM's

Well, I'm 18 next week and would relish the prospect of sharing the house with someone of your age. That would be interesting. I'm sure there would be conflicts based on our age difference but they would be genuine ones, not manufactured on the fly, by the producers. More interesting than that, would be the things we would have in common along with the bonds we would make across the age divide.

Cerberus (not the person)
would like to point out that he serves a useful guarding function, whereas Jade can't even guard her gob, and as such, he, cerberus, bears no resemblance to Jade.

I don't have E4 or webstream but base my opinions on DSBB live updates and all the tidbits I garner on this forum( allowing for the obvious biases I can see !!). I also get NTL interactive news updates.
So good old DS for their excellent service ..........

Slightly older than 18...

Doesn't it say on my profile?? I can't see the damn thing yet.

But seriously, I find that dealing with an intelligent 18yr old is no different to dealing with any one else, I work with a few and if it weren't for the fact that they've fewer wrinkles than I, even if I am young looking for my age, you wouldn't know there was an age difference at all. I know plenty of people my OWN age, with whom I have nowt in common.

Thankyou for your kind comments, I dont really think the British TV public are ready for a short, fat, bald headed & slightly senile grandfather on BigBrother4.

But my observations of the E4/C4 coverage has been very controvertial indeed, I have noticed that BigBrother has engineered most of the dissent within the house, including the original house meeting that Alex requested, was suggested by BigBrother, infact BigBrother has told all the housemate to talk to other HM's about their grievances.

Even the Weekly tasks have been designed to create maximum conflict, Todays mini task (composing a welcome song ) is one of the very few BigBrother decisions which have pleased me.

I am dissapointed in the BB3 Programme so far, ( I am not saying that it does not interest me ) but there are times where I feel very uncomfortable with the way in which HM's are being forced into conflict, while there is no release valve, if a HM snaps under pressure, what safeguards are in place to protect them from themselves or other HM's, This is a very popular programme, I hold the opinion that the producers are treading on very dangerous ground in inciting revolts and conflicts in such a situation.

I pay for the webstreams. They as better than E4 as they as are 24/7 and don't get censored as nerly as much.

So - your arguments are actually pretty meaningless, given I have more coverage on the BB house than you.

And, although it is spelt GULLIBLE rather than GULLABLE I am
neither.

Thanks

You don't need to make it clear where your criticsims lay! We see them in every other thread, they are pretty bloody clear.

Face it - plenty of people like the new series. I am one of them, and viewing figures as up so the public obviously likes it too.

LIKE IT OR NOT - your repeated slagging off of the producers is wrong - BB is a TV show and C4 exists to make money.

Viewers equal money.

We know you don' t like it - and thats fine. You are perfectly entitled to your opinion - but do the rest of us have to read it again and again it every other thread on this forum???????

You can't have a valid discussion without having all sides of an argument put.

We all have views on BB (and some may be contrary to yours, but are still just as valid).. My views centre on the pervasive way that the media is manipulated into portraying this as some major event and that feeds down in to the general public and their readiness to spends vast sums of money on telephone votes, web streams, etc. because they believe they are missing out on something important.

The BB forum is to do with all aspects of the program not just on what personality quirks the HMs have.

I agree totally. But one doesn't need to see the same argument put over and over again, even when it isn't relevant.

Fine - some people don't like Big Brother. Lets discuss it, I may not agree but I respect their opinions.

But I don't respect it when I see it in every interesting thread I am reading.

This comment is as shallow as BB3. If that's the only equasion you can come to then enjoy your BB3.

Although you feel my feelings are clear, my comments were aimed at Cerberus who said I didn't back up my comments. For your information, I will continue to post here for as long as I wish to do so. While my posts remain within the T&C of this forum, there is nothing you can do about it. Whether I actually watch BB3 or not, I am able to post as I see fit and I suggest either you deal with the content of my posts or make no comment at all.

I am not alone in my criticism of the producers and in TV circles it is commonly felt that the producers of BB3 have scored an own goal.

Does that mean it is wrong to criticise the directors of companies who charge more in the UK than they do in other countries? They do have to make money... statements such as that above are the reason this country is one of the most expensive in the world.

I doubt that very much. You are being very naive if you don't think C4 is being run as a commercial venture - which exists to make money for its owners. The way it does that is by increasing viewing figures.

BB3 is being watched by more people. Hence it is a success from the producers point of view (and in your notional "TV circles").

Continue posting if you wish, I suggest anyone else who doesn't enjoy your repetitive whining adds you to their ignore list.

It is wrong to suggest it is a bad move by the directors.

I think people are always quick to point the finger and blame someone, and admitidly (sp?) I do the same.

Leanne's opinions are clear, she is well within her rights for exressing an opinion, irespective if Leanne is right or wrong (Is there a clear answer anyway?) So instead of complaining about about how people keep slagging it off why don't you (whoever made any comments) either; a) Discuss the 'discussion' in hand or b) ignore it.

Personally I can see the show doing very well, and it will live on for a while yet .(with a few spin-off's no doubt) Many people are enjoying the show, some things people just love to hate too.

Do that if you wish. I don't feel myself to be in a minority of one. Do you consider your posts regarding me fall within the T&C of this forum and would you like to put the matter to the test ?
