If you are going to make accusations, please try to get your facts right. The only comment I said was shallow was, 'viewers = money'. Although this may be correct, it is still a shallow outlook and adds nothing to the production values of the programme. ”

That's all very interesting, but the real issue is what are you hair and legs like?

This is a question for LC:

What is your definition of 'production values'?

I ask because its one of these things that can mean different things to different people and I'd be interested to hear what your interpretation of the phrase is.

It may be shallow in a moral sense but you have to admit that the profit motive that has underpinned the enduring capitalist system has made the world wealthier and given us such luxuries as reality tv programmes and enriched all of our discussions.

I was discussing the merits of BB3, not world economics. If the Nazi empire was a good money spinner, would it be right for us all to embrace it as a way of life ?

All I am discussing here is BB3.

You said
"This comment is as shallow as BB3. If that's the only equasion you can come to then enjoy your BB3."
Which implies that you think that a) the comment is shallow and b) the person making the comment is shallow. Oh and seeing as how people were talking spelling it's equation.

I have my facts right, and wasn't making an accusation, merely an observation.

Please, do, enlighten us with your definition of production values. I'm sure many of us are interested.

That would depend: what's your hair like?

Is it dark? Long or short?

agentz this is a somewhat disappointing post. Leanne has told us that the we watch it at disbelief of the production values and yet you are not even clear what these are. You are hardly subsantiating LC's opinion.

Um Elliot, I'm not taking part in any argument or substantiation of arguments here, I'm genuinely interested to hear what Leanne classes as production values, that is all.

BB3 is a product of prfitable economics because of its number of viewers. Shallow but money drives business.

I shall try to stick closer to the discussion though.

elliottm, a couple of questions:
1) What are you talking about? That post is as clear as mud.

2) Who are you to decide what is or is not a 'disappointing' post?

3) Why do you assume someone is trying to substantiate Leanne's opinion?

agentz asked what Leanne's definition of production values is, and I too would like to know that. She seems to have a different definition to some other people.

I've already made it abundantly clear that I consider the comment, 'viewers = money', to be a shallow one, so your point a) is correct. If you want to apply my comment to the poster himself, that's up to you. I didn't say that. As for my opinions of BB3 production values, I have already made my thoughts clear in my previous posts, of which I have been accused of being repetitive, Therefore, I will not repeat them but you may read them for yourself, if you wish.

Leanne, you have been repetitive, but what you haven't done is explain what you consider production values to be. Please can you do so.

fair point cerberus. I've apologised to agentz and removed the post.

I was in no way disappointed with what was a question central to Leanne's discussion.

My disappoint was rather with the fact that Leanne has said that the viewers are watching BB3 out of disbelief at the production values and yet this may not necessarily be the case given other users' posts.

Most of the people on here seem to be watching it out of interest in other people. Although users of internet fora may not be representative of all of BB3 viewers, so I think it would still be difficult to establish conclusively that we are watching it in disbelief of its production values.

Apologies for the confusion.

I will put this in simple, easy to read writing.

WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF 'PRODUCTION VALUES'?

If you don't want to rewrite it, provide us with links to your comments, as I for one can't see any explanation.

elliottm - apology accepted, and one comes from me too for any confusion

It would be impolite of me to say so, although she has stated it in GD - I don't think you're too wide of the mark tho.
