I love blinking, I do

Has BB infiltrated the mindset so much, that people have actually counted that Adele blinked 84 times in one minute?

Why would anybody actually count the number of times someone blinks, and what effect does this have on what people think of Adele?

The sound was out as they were watching a film. The live updaters had to something. I for one feel elevated to know the Reptile blinks a lot.

I think it shows the entertainment value, or lack of it, of this year's show. Adele blinking 84 times was probably the highlight of yesterday's viewing for all the impact that Tepid Tim had on me.

It took me a good while to figure out what was going on there. I thought at first, she was outside alone, looking at the sky, and was close to tears. I was trying to work out if she was home sick or something. Then she jumped suddenly as if she had just seen a shooting star, it was then it clicked that they where watching the DVD *inside* the house.

However, the blinking I think is because she was getting abit emotional with the film, although I'm not sure which one it was, and if that film is a tear jerker. But she did seem to be filling up just a tad.

really shouldn't be trusted. But then people who constantly stab people who think they are her friends in the back at any opportunity shouldn't really be trusted either.

Out of all the housemates, I'd have to say that Spencer blinks the most, especially when he's talking. Resident forum psychologists, what does this mean?

Has anybody tried blinking 84 times in a minute.... it's very tiring.

It's not really tiring at all. Contact lense wearers tend to blink more, and I don't see them going around with eyes like a Chineseman.

Don't get the analogy at the end.. (thankfully, because it sounds stereotypical)

Humans blink about 6 a minute on average. maybe tiring wasn't the right word - annoying - over once a second is something else.

Tony,

I'm baffled. Your profile says "BB free land".

It's clear you can't stand BB, so why do you post in the Big Brother forum?

I'm not being antagonistic, I'm just curious.

*holds hands up* 'twas I.

I was on the 12am - 1am shift, and there was absolutely nothing going on at all... apart from Adele's amazing blinking abilities.. I had to write *something*

I found it your article amusing and had nothing better to do myself, than watch Adele blinking, Alex chewing popcorn and see Jonny pick his nose. They certainly know how to provide quality entertainment on a Sunday night.

I was confused when they turned the sound back on 10 minutes away from the end. Why cut it at all, if we were allowed to hear the last part?
