I think this comes from something Adele said on Saturday night. She was talking about how many cigarettes the poor side had, and then mentioned that they had "waccy baccy" too.

Unfortunately, it was quite obvious from the context that she actually meant loose tobacco, of the self-rolling variety rather than any illegal substances.

I'd imagine some brainless hack at the Daily Star heard the same comment out of context, added two and two together and got seven.

Not that I would have a clue about this in the slightest (I'm a good girl me!) but this is a matter that has bothered me since the first series when I saw both Mel and Anna making 'roll ups' using builds made of two rizzlas and using roaches. Over the past two years watching the three shows I have taken part in many disscussions as to whether or not the HM's really do smoke 'wacky backy' as some of the smokers I have spoken to appear to have a lot of 'proof' that BB will allow HM's to smoke it right under their noses. Very unlikely I know but anythings possible............

I would be extremely surprised if C4 would allow an illegal activity to take place on their property, as the current laws do provide for the confiscation of all properties associated with the the illegal act.

I know the Met. is short of cash, now they could make a tidy profit on all that equipment and property associated to BB,

But realistically, the tabliods do print some real crap just to get people to buy their paper, I would not believe anything at face value that appears in any of them, and that goes for the weather forecast aswell.

I must admit watching BB1 this thought struck me many times as I watched people roll up, but also seem to heat something and then crumble it into the tobaco before rolling...and they were always passing the things round rather than rolling one each etc...I always wondered, but without smell-a-vision it's hard to be sure.

I looked for the same sort of thing in BB2 and didn't see any evidence, and so far, nothing like that in BB3 either, though that comment by Adele did make my ears p-r-i-c-k (that's NOT a swear word you stupic automatic censor!) up too, but if something like that is going on, they're hiding it very well, and I doubt they'd let it continue realistically...just too stupid.

Not a chance they would ever risk having it in there, they go through all the housemates stuff before they go in.

Although I have no doubt Spencer was suffereing from ganja withdrawel symptons for the first few days.

It would be too difficult to role a joint with BB watching.

In BB2, Dean rolled a joint using banana skin chopped up and this was even confiscated by BB

Besides which, if you smoked pot in there, you'd just crumble. Well I would anyway.

The BB rules state that you can't take wacky baccy in.

I pricked up my ears too, then realised that Adele had misnamed ordinary baccy.

Shame. PJ could certainly have done with a spliff or two on Saturday.

As to roaches, well when I occasionally smoke a roll-up I always put a roach in it. It stops those bits of tobbacco from sticking to your lips. torn up Rizzla packets are not proof of a spliff having been made.
