It's the end of Feb/beginning of March and it'll be getting radio airplay from this week onwards... I can't get my hands on an exact date as yet

I love Won't Miss You from their first album but nothing beats I Am I Feel, I think everyone loves that song!

I used to love them so much... and I still do like them, particularly the first and second album... I used to try to do my makeup like them when I was 13, ended up looking like I'd been in a fight

one of the cool things about them was that they were a really good band for b-sides... I still have most of their singles and they did some really excellent b-side songs..

ah *nostalgia*

Yeah they are really well known for their b-sides

I think they made an album containing B-sides called The Attic Vaults. I don't think it was realeased in the shops though, I think it can only be bought on the internet or their website, I'm not sure.

yes, I've got CD1, never got around to getting CD2... not sure if they ever actually made it to be honest!.. it was available through the fan club online

it wasn't really a b-sides album as such.. I think it's more just unreleased material.. some good stuff though, if you can get hold of it, it's well worth it

I have indeed, it's a lovely and well polished album - it's sat in front of me right now and has already been added to my iTunes.

If you liked AA then you'll love this, it almost fills the void that the sisters fantastic harmonies left since they've been gone.

They came out around the same time as the Spice Girls, possibly a bit before. But I thought they shone through on their own despite all the hype about the Apice Girls.

When I first heard I Am I Feel I thought it was TLC or Salt N Pepa at first ha ha

I was putting songs on my mp3 player the other day and came accross this album, and had a listen! I'm SO glad I did, I can't believe I forgot how good the album was!

I never realised Karen wrote all those songs eithers, it's really bad but most of the time I don't think about who writes songs, I either like them or I don't!

When I buy an album, I do have a quick flick through to see if the artist wrote the song or not though, does anyone else do that?”

It's quite cool, even though Alisha's Attic are no longer together they are still very much active in the music industry!

Betty Boo, Cathy Dennis and Karen Poole seem to be the famous three that seem to keep cropping up in discussion when talking about singers who turned to song writing. Song writing is where the big money is!

Not sure if its already been posted but Shelly Poole has a new single out on the 8thMay.
All the past Aa albums are still available and i would strongly recomend buying them. Aa was a seriously underestemated colaboration of the two sisters of who Shelly is now embarked on a sucsesfull solo career, As for Karen , weather you know it or not you cant escape her writing as she has written and co written many popular songs that you wil no doubt know.
If you want more info go to www.shellypoole.com .
Alternatively mail me for more contact details and i will be ony too pleased to help.
Oh and by the way Shelly and Karen are probably the nicest people I have ever met
