I love Aa.

First album favourites - White Room, Air We Breathe.
Second album ones - Resistor, Karmically Close, Lay Low.
3rd album faves - Push It All Aside, Sex Is On Everyone's Tongue, Can't Say Sorry, If You Want Me Back, Dreaming.
B Sides favourites Valentines '98, Not My Muse, The Pulse.

But I love them all.

The girls always viewed the band as a project so you never know, they've never said never...

Yeah was always abit of a mystery that they never had a top ten single - I Am I Feel and The Incidentals were worthy of top 5 status alone - in my opinion of course

Where the hell have i been? why have i not noticed this thread before??

As an avid AA fan i am ashamed of myself!

I remember first hearing I Am I Feel way back in 96 & memory wise it defines that summer for me!

Its hard to believe they only released 9 singles and never reached higher than 12 in the UK, but in a way i think it can be seen as a good thing - it has given them a cooler more cult status amoung critics etc

They were about as edgy as James Blunt. Awful thin nasal voices too...they really were shit.

If that were true then Alisha's Attic would have been huge, appealing to the coffee table generation of Dido and James Blunt fans.

They wrote songs about angels, fairy dust, white rooms, fairytales, wizard of oz references, barbarella, dolphins - they were very quirky and unique in their genre...which I guess is why they never made it to be as big as they deserved to be.

Their songs are still adored by fans so at least those who care always care about them.

I love Alisha's Attic!

Whenever I listen to them, I get so many memories of being a teenager and being at school. One of my favourites is 'Indestructable'.

I really liked Shelley's album she released a couple of years ago. I didn't know about it until recently --I'd heard 'Lost In you' on a film (Ninas Heavenly Delights) and thought the voice was familiar, but didn't put two and two together until one night recently when I was just browsing iTunes, and stumbled upon the song, and realised it was Shelley Poole

I loved Alisha's Attic - they were one of the first albums I ever bought! Still have all three albums, will have to get them out and listen some time (since my MP3 player died, I've been rotating the same few CDs so it'll be nice to have some variety!)

I've always loved this band and the girls are also collectively responsible for some of the most successful and snappy pop tunes in recent times. Adore U I do xxxx

Sorry to resurrect this thread but... I am trying to buy The Attic Vaults

Does anyone know is it possible to buy it from their website - I'm not sure when it was last updated so don't want to go down that route.

Also I have tried eBay and can't find it at all

A quick search brought this up. No idea how legit it is, as have not bought from them, but might be worth checking out.

Amazon have The Collection by them, although different to what you wanted. At least its a reputable site (in my experience):

They supported inxs at one of there gigs in 1997 and they were fantastic. As i remember they were on the same record lable as inxs, mercury at the time. I also remember Michael Hutchence speaking very highly of them during inxs's gig!
