Adele saying "really???????"

e.g.

Sophie > I've just bought a new car

Adele> Really????????????????????????????

as though its one of those things that very few people have ever done!

”

My memory is REALLY hazy on this, but I seem to recall that many years ago there was something somewhere, I THINK, it may have beebn "viz", that suggested that you always say "really?" with an expression of total disbelief to any remark made to you. And it really pisses people off - try it. (it's similar to Harry Enfield's suggesting that at a dinner party, you always say: "really, how interesting", even to the most boring, mundane comment) Maybe that's what adele's doing.

Or maybe *I* made it up. if so: copyright subsists with me, and no-one can so it, ever, in the whole world, except for hauge sums of cash.

A lot of the housemates bad habits I hate have already been mentioned:

Kate - the way she eats (glad someone else noticed!!!) and her desperation to want Spencer to notice her (seems to have fizzled out a bit tho).

Sophie, Jade - chewing gum ALTHOUGH the worst for this was LEE who'd break the gum up and have bits hanging out of his mouth.

Jade - everything.

Sophie - hogging people's conversations.

Tim - the way he looks at everyone as though they were a piece of s**t all the time (even from the beginning when the housemates were playing the song for him).

Spencer - his aloofness which (bit of amateur psychology here), is false and covers up his insecurity. He walked out of the getting-to-know-you chat with New Boy and housemates because he wanted to appear "cool", but found another male's presence a threat.
