I do exactly the same. I'm forever swapping feeds to keep up with him. If not just to stare at the heavenly hunk, it's to have a good laugh.

If he goes on Friday, I can't think of anything that I may look forward to in the remaining weeks.

God forbid, Jonny and Kate will probably think that they have to provide the entertainment in the house again. We could see the resurrection of the 'Fame Twins - Part Deux', and crap like that.

Please don't subject us the that.

KEEP ALEX IN!!!!!!!
”

The very thought of the Fame Twins is enough to get many people reaching for the remote control - apart from their family & friends - & I will just go back to playing the Sims & wait for BB4!

I guess the bookies have not been reading this thread, it is clear that Alex has the support of many people. In the first eviction SANDY & ALEX where the favs to be kicked out.

I for one am happy to go and put money on Spencer to be evicted.

Whilst not wishing to enter into a "class" debate, I suspect that most of Alex's supporters may be among the more mature (old to some people) of us.

Spencers, are more likely to be young teenagers, lets just hope there parents keep the phone away from them.

I putting my money where my mouth is, £10 on Spencer to be evicted £10 on phone calls to get him out.

Just a shame Tim wasn't up this week.

Is it worth paying a pound to continue to see Alex in the house! If so:

Strategy 1: Vote four times (25p per call)
”

I've just texted Spencer out and it only cost 10p! I'm on orange.

If Spencer stays, his fans will probably continue to watch BB3.

If Alex goes, his fans (myself included) will most likely abandon the show.

I think the public are stupid anyway. Take week 2 evictions- Alison (who bought soem form of laughter to the house) was evicted while the extremly boring Sandy was kept in. Won't be suprised if the funny, interesting Alex is kicked out in favour of the boring, arrogant Spencer. I think this years lot are the worst anyway. the last 2 years some peopel stood out fromd ay 1, this year hardly anyone stands out at all. It's really a dry bunch. lets hope they choose better for BB4.

I like both Alex and Spencer; they are easily the best characters on BB3 and the show will be much diminished by the removal of either of them. But when push comes to shove, I agree with most people on this thread - Alex is that bit more entertaining. He represents an important alternative focal point in the house to the Spencer/PJ/Kate late-night drinking crew and you need different dynamics going on to create tensions etc. So, reluctantly, I'm voting for Spencer to be evicted, but I think it's futile. I can't see Alex winning out against the girlie hordes (although I'm the first to admit that Spencer IS FIT). My only hope with Spencer left as the only truly interesting character left in BB3 is that he will mutiny against BB, but I now see that as doubtful. He's showing himself to be a lot more bark than bite. Pity.

I have to agree, Alex should stay this week. He's the only reason I've been watching it, because overall I have found this series disappointing in comparrison to years 1 & 2. Alex is funny, smart (well maybe not at adding up the shopping list...), kind and sensitive. As much as I do like Spencer (what a horrible choice we have this week) I do think Alex should stay for the sake of the show. After all, what would E4 be like without him? The cameras seems to almost always be on him (if only it was like that on C4 )

I have a feeling Alex will go on Friday, although I think it will be closer than the teenies expect. Who knows, we may even get a Pop Idol type result. It's possible if we all vote like crazy.

I hate this vote; the wrong people are up for nomination. Howver, Alex must stay. I like spencer, and have done from 5 mins he entered the house (hated his tape though -didn't like him)

Alex can surprise you with his antics. He is unconventional.

I wish I lived with a man that put the toilet seat down!

I seem to remember the bookies saying that Alex would go when Alison was booted out as well

Get Spencer Out - then Big Brother suddenly will become interesting as anyone could win it. If Spencer stays in - you might as well give him the 70k and finish the show early. There just wouldn't be a point anymore....

Alex is the only real one who will stand up for what he believes in and says what he thinks (even if that is a self-confessed whinge) - where as the others are just puttin on a "non-confrontational act" This includes Spencer - whose mask has slipped several times but which C4 has declined to show.

Have the guts to rip up the C4 script and vote out Spencer! I know I will!

Surely if you acknowledge he'd win the £70k you're acknowledging that he has enough fans to stay in this week...

My vote will go to Spencer but somehow I don't think it'll do much good. I reckon we'll be waving bye bye to Alex :'( ”

Okay so I take it back.....maybe my vote for Spencer will do some good after all judging by most of the posts in this thread. Fingers, toes, eyes & legs crossed

Yes - he has a lot of (delusional) fans...I grant you. Alex is the only real strong contender to Spencer's dominance of BB3 at the moment...and if Alex can't topple him, then I don't think anyone can.

There are a lot of people who Spencer is their second favourite though, with Alex being their 1st, so in the absence of Alex - they wouldn't mind seeing Spencer win. No-other housemate I think can rival Alex in knocking Spencer down to "second preference".

That's what i'm hoping will swing the balance and ensure Spencer is ditched.

I do

On the topic of Spencer....I'd compare watching him to watching paint dry. The guy is just so disinteresting and dare I say I don't find him in the least bit aesthetically pleasing

Bookies - schmookies , they got it wrong before with Alex !!
They're lapping it up coz this is the big one of the whole BB3, they'll milk it for every penny they can get. And the punters will use forums like this to try swaying opinion one way or the other to protect their investments.

That's my total gut reaction to this BB as well. I couldn't bare to see Spenny continually slobbing out, especially when he's done nothing to entertain me. Unlike Alex, who has.
