If Alex goes on Friday I'll still continue to watch but won't have the same interest as I have now. Alex not only provides laughs but his constant struggle against the 'in crowd' in the house is what makes BB3 really worth watching. I loved the moment Alison was evicted - mainly for the look on Kates face. Her and Jade trying to figure out what had happened was so pathetic ("Sandy has all the Scottish voters...and Alex is a model so...") They couldn't seem to accept the fact that maybe people on the outside actually liked Alex and Sandy.

The thing is that Alex doesn't seem to see it as him against them but they (Kate, Spencer, PJ) certainly see it as them against him. I fear that next week the likes of Kate will have a smug look on their faces as if to say 'I knew I was better than him'.

I voted for Spencer 10 times last night and will be voting alot more before the end of the week. It does seem like a long shot but if we really want Alex to stay in then we have to turn our support for Alex into votes against Spencer. Get dialing that number!!!

Everyone, go here and vote 0 as many times as you can as it will lower his opularity rating ont he website. it's already dropped by 4% since I checked yesterday (and alex's has risen, not sure of the exact percentage, but he's up to 4th place). Hopefully Spencer will be gone. I can't stand him.

I thought BBLB was pretty much pro alex all the way through it didnt feature much spencer. And the poll suggested a majority were sticking up for him 'butting' in between jade + adeles row. I guess we'll have to wait untill the channel 4 show tonight then we can see how C4 wants to swing the vote.
Alex must stay!

Hornet: You do know that poll means nothing? You voting 0 won't affect how the rest of the public vote..

Im expecting a high amount of editing in C4's Big Brother tonight, as most of you know tuesday was quite an eventful day in the house (the best yet in my opinion) what with the bitch fight, nomination reactions (HAHAHA SPENCER) and the hot tub/wet room stuff all going on. I just hope alex fares well tonight and they show his sensitive side - this could be crucial for friday.

Alex should stay in the house as a role model for men to learn from.

Apart from that he is kind sensative caring and funny and most of all Clean .

He has to stay.

i like alex loads but i have to say that i LOVE spencer more!!

i find him very amusing and want him to stay in the house.......but why do we have to choose between the best 2 people in the house?

i wanted both alex and spanky to make it to the end!

its going to be close

It's such a shame it's come to this, so early.

These two are my favourites, Spencer for the eye candy aspect, and Alex all over for being irritating in exactly the right way, open, forgiving, responsive, and just downright amusing. He keeps the show alive.

Imagine how boring or predictable the darts thing would have been had anyone else won.

Furthermore, Spencer has gone right down in my opinion since he started being PJ "women is a term of abuse"'s right hand man, and picking up on his way of acting.

Spencer is a copy cat look a like rebel by numbers, who is ultimately a lads man, and doesn't have the guts to stand up for his convictions - he may be cuddly in the diary room, but he'll just sit there and not say anything when PJ is uttering his misogynist jokes.

I don't usually vote, but I have budgetted five quid in support of Alex on this one. And trust me, that's difficult on my budget.

This is going to be a close call, i think it's inevitable that whoever stays is likely to go on into the final. I just wish some people could see through spencer - he's basically dean from bb2, ok so theres no denying hes good looking, but once you see through that theres not much else. He's boring, ununique and a general tosser (not to mention his homophobic comments towards alex, and his sexist atitudes towards the girls). Alex is unpredictable, funny and makes great TV. He ranges from crying because of the argument between his angels to ranting to anything a little as a packet of sausages - this man is entertainment. And we need more _-gate scandles there over such pointless things, its great viewing. What are you guys fave alex moments?

What did you make of Alex in the Diary Room? He showed his insecurities there I think by saying he's not used to being liked and seemed genuinley hurt about the infighting of his angels. But then he was very drunk!

*Bump* I looked everywhere for this thread earlier to bump it back to the top, and finally here it is again!

Keep the campaign alive as the poll on the DS:BB site shows Spencer in the lead again... c'mon folks... keep Alex in, we need entertainment!

For "body_chocolate", one of my fave Alex moments was when Sandy was still in the house, and Alex turned to him in the garden and said "I wonder if we'll be on Richard and Judy..." They both laughed over it. Such dry wit! Gotta love it

Believe it or not, most models are insecure. Though it is a little more rare in male models. This is why alot of models end up with eating disorders and the like - it's not the lifestyle they lead per se, it can often be an inherint flaw in their psychological makeup.

As you mention, he was drunk, but it was interesting to hear his take on acceptance by other members of the house, and his feelings for Adele. A few tips (of a glass of alcohol) make for loose lips... these are obviously feelings he has near the surface that he would never expound upon while sober. Great stuff! Yet so many more reasons we need to keep him in the house!

Seems like most celebrities,Little brother guests and just about anyone with a brain are jumping on the Alex bandwagon. Looks like this battles going to be a lot closer then the bookies lead us to belive....

Another good show for Alex tonight.

It kind of showed Spenny as the slob that he is, and that his 'relationship' with Kate is a bit of a sham. Then later, you get Adele and Alex in the pool, almost having a kiss, had it not been for gobby Jade.

I've read somewhere that someone on Radio 1 did a poll of who they want evicted, and around 60% voted for Spenny to go. I'm getting more and more hopeful that Alex will survive now, but I'm not going to be complacent.

Off to spend a few more quid on Spenny.

I think C4 are finally realising that there are a growing number of alex fans, and as kate would say - spencer "is SO last week" . I loved alex's sentimental bits in the diary room tonight, he looked really genuine. And spencer hardly got a look in . Friday is going to be so close - make your vote count (doing it about 10 times or more is a good start ). VIVA ALEX

Listening to Alex in the Diary Room nearly broke my heart. He sounded so genuine.

He obviously doesn't wanna leave, even if the drink was making him sound more emotional about the situation.

He does seem very insecure though - the way he spoke about Alex, and then ended with the "Eff it" comment. It almost sounded like he was trying to convince himself he doesn't care about the situation when he does.

Why do you think he wasn't looking at the camera when he started getting emotional? Do you think he was seeing it as a substitute for making eye contact?

I hope he does stay in on Friday - he's far more of a joy to watch than Spencer. He shows a range of emotions and feelings and always speaks up about situations in the house. Nothing against Spencer in general - just that he never seems to do anything that would mean I'd even notice if he left on Friday.

I am certainly voting to keep Alex in.

I admit Spencer has some humorous moments but in the great scheme of things this usually amounts to five minutes out of a 24 hour day - the rest of the time being taken up with sleeping, smoking, belching, farting, sleeping.

If Alex goes their will be no great disruption in the groups make-up, Adele will cope, everyone else will go on much the same.

If Spencer goes the fallout will be superb:
-Kate will miss him for five minutes before turning her attention else - possibly PJ as she suggested to Sophie
- Jonny will panic and get paranoid about how the public's reacting. He will slowly go mad and start sucking up to Alex
- PJ will have lost his little leader and take over the soap dodging role of Spencer, he'll take the Spencer eviction personally and go for Alex's jugular
- Tim will see a dominant male go and try to undermine Alex in a vey sly manner
- Adele will become increasingly relaxed and her relationship with Alex will flourish which in turn will undermine Kate's role as the self styled siren of the house

If Alex is voted out and in time the bars will go, BB will become nothing more than watching Spencer and his little gang drink themselves into oblivion whilst telling fart jokes on loop not to mention Jonny and Kate's repetative impressions of Marcus and Davina (I doubt Alistair McGowan and Ronni Ancona are quaking in their shoes)

Keep Alex in - Keep Entertainment In - Vote Spencer out!

Alex's classic moments are in the evening ususally, my fave is when it was Jade's School Disco party and he went thought that camp 'my mate fancies you' routine. I do Live Updates in the morning, and these have been some 'Alex morning moments':

12.05: Adele asks Alex why he wanted to go into the diary room "To cancel my request to visit the diary room" he says.

11:08 As the poor house sit down to eat their fruit breakfast, Alex takes his laxative medication. "...or Squirt Juice as I like to call it". This makes the housemate break into a fit of giggles.

11:52 The sun is out and poor house are laughing at Alex who is trying to have a 'bath' in the large laundery bucket. Alex says his bath is "lovely".

10:32 From the outside shower, Alex notices that one of the chickens looks like it is going to be sick again. "Oh no - maybe it is throwing up at the sight of me naked!" he concludes

11:16 As Kate walks thought the door Alex is holding open for her, Kate says "Cheers Alex". Alex replies "Ok Lynne". Cheeky!

I have voted for spanky twice tonite, not because I particularly want him out, but I want Alex to stay in more. As per the general points above, he really is the only one in the house who provides regular amusement. He also appears to be one of the few who is prepared to say what he feels, regardless of how it could potentially offend/affect others...as his selection on Saturday night showed

Of course, my opinion could be swayed by the fact that he is rather good looking!!
