Nokia 3210
I need some help please.
I've recently been given (i know, great!) a 3210 from a neighbour who was getting a new Samsung. Before this I had a 3210 myself but unfrotunately broke it. The phone i was given was on Vodafone but I've put my old SIM card in (Orange) to keep the same number. Since using this new(?) phone it says *FAX* at the top of the screen next to where the envelope appears to notify a text message. I can't get rid of the *FAX* bit and was wondering if anyone knew how! Probably a long shot i know but hey?!?!?!? Thanks in advance. |

You could try a Restore Factory Settings Menu 4 - 4 which will reset the phone to its default settings. The only drawback is you will need the phones Security Code if you have it.

You do not have the Send Text as type, as a Fax do you? I do not know if that would make it show FAX but its an idea. 2 - 5 - 1 - 2 should get you to that setting on a 3210.

No, it's set as text. Could it be that someone has sent a message to me in FAX mode?
