They've done an interactive episode before, yet the adverts are still advertising it as the first ever

well this one is a Casualty/HoblyCity crossover so it might be the first time those two have crossed over & gone interactive

when else was it interactive?

They haven't done an interactive one before , they did a crossover where both the A+E department and the rest of Holby Hospital were involved in the same episode.

But this time it will be interactive where we the viewer will be able to choose or influence what happens.

They have. It was about five-ten years ago for Comic Relief. It was broken into segments, with a vote for what should happen next in between

Are you confused with the Children In Need Eastenders/Holby City/Mersey Beat/Casualty crossover special which was split into several parts but NO vote actually taken to decide as to what happens next?

They have never done an interactive episode before. They didn't have sufficient technology and time to do it up until recently anyway!

What the hell?!

"Oh who shall we pick, love, who do you think deserves the kidney transplant most?"

What is that all about? LOL, it sounds a bit ridiculous!

It's not like it was put in that quote. There's two patients needing a transplant and the viewers have to decide who they think is the most deserving under the circumstances. It's about making them realise the hard decisions medical staff have to face every day, and realising just how important it is that people are willing to be donors. Because in a case like this, only one person can live - the other has to go without. It's tragic, but it's true.

I hate it when the BBC forces programmes to do a theme to fit in with their latest campaign, ahs anyone noticed how their campaign's names never make grammatical sense? Like 'DoNation', I mean WTF!?

Split it. Do Nation. From donate, do and nation. As in, the nation's doings count, in donation. The nation, needs to do! Then less 'who lives' decisions will have to be made.

Naturally.

Ino this is synical(sp?) but,I wonder if it will actally be determined by the vote of the interactive, they could easily have just filmed one ending with say the man getting the organ and just pretend that it was the result of the interactive vote when actually the votes wernt even considered! Guess there will be no way of knowing though!

Ella_X yes they could do that, however that is the case with any show which features auidence vote, and I think they all want to appear honset, to keep people voting, if people suspected there votes were pointless they wouldnt vote.
