Yes I miss Cold Feet very much, but the way the final series ended it would be impossible, I think, to ever make another series. It does look slightly dated when I catch the repeats on itv3 and is probably best remembered as programme of its time. I do not know if you remember an american series Thirty Something, I think it was late 80's early 90's, it was a similar idea to Cold Feet, the ups and downs of a group of friends single and married, I always wished they would do an update and call it Forty Something or Fifty Something.

While it was a great series, full of warm characters, good non-OTT drama and very funny scenes, I think altogether the show ran it's course over it's five years. Anymore and it would of started going down, in other words they ended it on a high, rather then an anticlimatic low!

I watched the pilot episode and enjoyed it. That's the one with tha guy out of Murphy's Law standing naked with a rose jammed in his cleavage, I think.
Never got round to watching the series so I bought the all the video's on ebay. I hope it was worth it as I've not seen them yet. |
