Corrie is a double episode on Sunday to make way for football tonight?

To quote Queen Victoria - I am NOT amused!

You get a double episode on Sunday, what you moaning about !

The Queen Victoria line would have been good had we been talking about Eastenders.

Football is a worldwide passion, more understood globally that Corrie.

Im missing watching Corrie tonight, that shows im starting to enjoy it again after a few months of below standard episodes. However im not that bothered as there was a decent reason for moving it this time not like before with CLI. I was NOT amused then.

Why should I be passionate about a game which does not involve my team.

I'm not a soap fan, but to me its a bit of a mickey mouse game of football.

I just dont understand why they dont put it on ITV2.

Advertising and ratings I expect. The sponsors pay a lot for it to be on ITV1

Corrie does not make the money that Football makes on tv. Corrir goes out in England. The Football match goes out all over the world.

Football is way more important than a Soap.

Football is great and i dont see the big deal with Corrie fans. you get you're 2 episodes on Sunday. Football is real life, Corrie is fiction and ITV make a lot of money out of this game tonight.

I love footie. However, this is a very strange game to put on at this time on a Friday I must admit.

I know that Corrie will get it's extra episode..but to me, this isn't the most important game I have ever seen so odd it is on primetime on a prime TV channel on a friday night.

Sorry, but I have to say, Corrie goes out to Scotland, Ireland and Wales at the same time. Not just England.

I would guess that Corrie does way better for ITV than this match but actually I would say dump an episode of Corrie - there are way too many. Why we have to have an hour on Sunday and then Monday I don't know! It is on way too often. 3 shows a week is enough!

And I love the show by the way and hate football!

Well they would have to show it before Monday otherwise it would mess up the monday double episodes.

The omnibus will show 4 episodes. All episodes of Corrie are shown on ITV1 first before ITV2.

I dont know what the big deal is, I missed watching Corrie last night, but its not like this has never happened before. And we are no losing out as we have the episode on Sunday.
