The worst change of actor for a character though has to be Adam Baldwin. One day he was tiny, voice had'nt broken and he had a crush on Candice, then all of a sudden he's massive, black hair, strong Scottish accent and Candice is running after him for his money, and heis driving , excuse me but last year was'nt he still at school!

They do it when they plan some interesting storylines for the kids but the current actors just aren't up to it. Martin Fowler was played by the same kid that had played him when he was tiny. Obviously at that age they don't know what sort of an actor they will turn out to be. As it was they decided that the boy wouldn't be able to cope with the storylines planned for Martin so recast the character.

Neighbours is very guilty of switching actors. 3 girls played Lucy Robinson. And even Jason Donovan was not the first actor to play Scott Robinson (Darius Perkins originally played the role).
