Belinda Peacock in return to Eastenders
Apparenty Belinda Peacock will be returning to Eastenders later in the year and we will also see her husband Neville. I liked Belinda she had a drink problem but just as we were getting to know about it she was never seen again.

IF it's true, this is fantastic IMO. She was my favourite next to Kat.

I thought she was a good character with a lot of potential. I never understood why they didn't bring her back sooner. Of course she'll need some decent storylines and scripts, which could be a sticking point.

I liked Bel - if this is true, I'm glad she's coming back.

Belinda is good!! bring her back, there needs to be some more slater women brought in, what with Kat leaving and Little Mo being, well, just dull these days. I say bring back Belinda, then bring in Stacey's mum (could make for some interesting storylines, her relationship with her daughter, she could also get around a bit
)

Oh no please not Stacey's mum - she was very dreary! There are plenty of dreary people already!

Yes, don't you remember?
She went to see her with Charlie soon after she arrived. She doesn't care about Stacey and seemed to be in some kind of drug/drink/depression (can't remember) induced haze. |

I hope so. I love Belinda and the Slaters need something new and fresh for when Kat leaves.

I reckon it's true. I'm sure they'll be great for EastEnders, it needs a nice new comedy couple - it hasn't got many.

Belinda is a good character. She only pretends to be posh.

now I come to think of it Belinda & Stacey could be interesting, Stacey reaches out to Kat, but she isnt bothered (and is leaving) so I think Stacey might start to look up to Belinda.
With Kat going, the Slaters do need someone new, and this could be just the shot in the arm they need. |

I'm not sure this is a good idea. Although I do quite like Belinda, I do think the Slaters have long gone past their sell by date so I don't see the point in extending them once again. To be honest, after Kat's exit, I would prefer EastEnders to be a Slater free zone, bar Stacey.

I don't understand why people keep saying certain characters have "run their course." I think it's a bit of a ridiculous thing to say, especially with haracters like Charlie and big Mo. Why can't they just be *there*? It's not as if they have ever had MAJOR storylines anyway. It's just nice to have them I think.
