Jimmy tells Matthew that Don Clough is interested in buying the haulage business. Meanwhile, Edna informs Tom of Jimmy’s meeting with Don Clough, confirming to Tom that Sadie was telling the truth. However, when Tom lets Sadie know that he still can’t trust her, she tries another tack to earn his respect by helping him buy Home Farm.

Effie asks Callum to take Joseph on his rounds with him, much to Zoe’s concern. Whilst out on the estate, Callum spots Shadrach poaching and as he tries to catch him, Joseph gets pushed over into the mud. Will Zoe see the funny side and how will Joseph take the news that he will soon be moving to New Zealand?

Meanwhile, in the Woolpack Jarvis soaks up the sympathy by playing the victim and telling everyone that the Kings have sacked him.

Evening all!
Does anyone know if the young actor playing Joseph has changed? (The misses made me ask - honest).

I don't think so, it's just we haven't seen him for ages so he looks older.

Hmm, perhaps. One or two too many Big Macs perhaps. The youth of today...

Thanks anyway.

He looks like a different actor to me actually but kids change appearance rapidly I guess!

Looking at him again: might be same kid!

Haven't watched in a while. Who is Effie?

Found http://emmerdale.biz/emmerdale/profiles/josephtate.htm which appears to confirm drifters view that its just been a while since he's been on screen.

I thought it was a good episode, although I did LOL at the Shadrach thing. Once again a Dingle eludes Callum and gets away with it - this time an aging drunk lol Callum is a good character though, and I like Effie more now, too.

Enjoyed the King scenes, and the Nicola/Simon stuff. Jo is a promising character.

When Tom was on the phone and Sadie walked in, he said it was personal. He was speaking to "Dean" - do we know Dean?

I don't like Jo, she seems just another E'Dale bimbo.

We've seen Dean before (yesterday in fact), he's basically a business type friend of Tom's I think and was meant to be his driver or something whilst he was recovering. I can't remember exactly.

Prior to yesterday he had appeared in it before, probably when the whole family arrived. He was also around during the Charity era, and if I remember correctly he used to drive her to the gym. I think at one time Sadie tried to infer that there was something going on between Charity and Dean.

Can't quite work Effie out. She get's on quite well with Callum though.

Another good episode. I am liking the Kings storylines at the moment.

Loving the Kings too, Jimmy's getting in over his neck again.

I think Effie has a dark side, seems very sus to me.
