what's going on with tonights corrie? there's a running commentry telling us whats happening.

That may be the audio description thing being tested... They probably forgot to switch it off so most receivers would have had it enabled.

This is for the visually impaired. You get it on DVD movies for the blind. Not seen it done on tv before though.

Every episode has this - it's called Audio Description.

However usually - like subtitles - you have to turn it on manually via your digibox.

So here we go again with the "we do this and we do that" attitude by sky.... Yes they employ people to do the descript on their shows but not on the non sky channels. That is up to the respective broadcaster, although they may use the same people sometimes. No wonder we get the confusion of people thinking that sky is everything to do with tv and radio.

Would be nice too to make it simpler to turn on or off though, judging by the instructions for sky digital viewers.
