I love the BB theme tune by Paul Oakenfold/Andy Gray and thought it would be more successful upon release two years ago.

Do you think it's the definitive tune that still suits the show or do you think its due for a change?

The music in the show is too easily forgotten about but I especially love the way the tune is faded in at the end of the programme, as nomination numbers are read out. It evokes more than a little sense of sadness.

I'm more than ready to see the same theme tune return next year.

You hear the theme tune you think "Big Brother!" They just couldn't change it, its like the shows trademark.
Even though, I hate dance music.

I remember they played it through the house on eviction night in BB1 (when they used dance music instead of taped crowds), and the contestants didnt know it was the theme tune. (even though Im sure someone says 'Big Bro-theerrr!' in the background - is that just me?)

Thats one thing I liked about the 1st series - the housemates had no idea of the popularity of the format of the show, whereas now theyre like 'OK, we should be live now, and then they play the theme tune, and then....' etc etc

I've got the original single and where'as it is the same tune, many things have changed. They should definately re-release it, it smells of Big Brother.

Yeah, what made me laugh is that Craig could hear the track and said to another housemate "This is a really good song!" without realising it was the theme tune to the show he was moments away from winning. That has always stuck in my mind for some reason.

The song is the best thing about BB3 as it brings on nostalgia for the 1st. 2 BBs

We play it at work whenever something happens, and we want to issue an update to our office-mates.

Everyone knows to shut the hell up when the music comes on...



But it just wouldn't be the same without that tune...
A bit like Eastenders loosing the Duh-Duh-Duh-DI-DuhDuhDuh drm beat thingy at the end of an episode...

anyone know what the remixed version is called its on the main menu of the bb2 dvd and I have heard it on the interactive advert for bb(I think).
