does anyone know why hourly updates on this site are now a lot less frequent ... what else is going to keep me occupied in work !!!!!! seriously tho is there a reason ??

Please bear in mind that our reporters are volunteers and have committments of their own.

Live updates resume at 4pm.

the situation is much worse on the official BB site. they have had no news updates since 0.15 last night.... and you can bet they don't rely on volunteers....

the guys here are doing pretty well.

How about staring an update thread on this board that can be kept at the top of the forum so we can all add little updates if we have a minute? Worked on some US BB boards I read last year.

This has to be the best Big Brother website i have found. I didn't know about it last year

If i had e4 i would volunteer myself but sadly i dont lol. The update guys are so cool for doing what they do, mucho respect

agree. not only is this site a hundred times *faster* than the official BB site, but it is updated more than once a day. plus the message boards work *all the time*. i am on a fast machine with an ISDN line, but the official site is inaccessible more often than it is not.

Thanks guys - we did have some server problems last week, but these are all ironed out now and the whole thing is running much more smoothly now, I'm very happy to say - and with stability and room to grow further.

Definately think an update thread would be a great idea, its great to keep up to date with this site whats going on, especially as the E4 coverage in Ireland isn't great ( the interactive isn't available in ROI) Well done to the guys posting the updates, I used to read the C4 web site but typical after a night where the most exciting thing has happened they haven't being posted much on their 'latest news' Keep the Gossip Coming, & KEEP [i]Spencer in the house

oh, yeah, the reason i posted - if you you go for the update sticky could you do two... one for fact, one for rumour?

oh, also, anyone know why i can't start new threads? am i just too rude or have i not clicked on the correct button somewhere?

Due to the amount of people becoming members due to Big Brother, new members are put on a probationary period and I believe this is to stop abuse of the boards. You will be allowed to start new threads once you are a full forum member, if you desperately need a new thread starting, one of the DS team will start it for you. Hopefully this is right, no doubt someone will corerct me if this is wrong.

All you have to do is browse the forum to find out the latest news. Last night , for example, the thread discussing Jade and Adele's argument had nearly 200 replies withing 45 minutes or so

Glad you said that about official site as I had the unnerving feeling that my PC had gone wrong or I'd lost my proxy server !!

This site must be good as when the Jade saga happened last night there was an avalanche of postings and the servers held up to it !
