Ive been to the big bro chat and found that, everytime i asked people WHY spencer should stay in the house, the only reason they can come up with is that hes 'fit'....well, im sorry but if you find someone who looks like a turtle, who stinks, doesnt wash, smokes all day, and just does NOTHING, attractive then you havent seen a lot of men! plus, what exactly was the most interesting thing he's done in the house? at least alex has certaintly helped the ratings, that guys bonkers!
so people if u have any sense, write down [admin edit: number removed], cos spencer really is the new dull Dean!

I wish people would stop saying he doesn't wash!! He does, I've noticed him having loads of showers over the weeks, the last one yesterday (he might even had one today but I've been keeping an eye on Jade)

BTW you ain't allowed to post eviction numbers

The fact of the matter is that Alex is as two-faced as Adele and Jade. At one moment he can be all 'oh, hi, what are you up to?' and the next he can just be shouting a grumpy like a little child as we saw last night when he slept outside.

In my opinion, Spencer is the only 100% genuine person in there, but that may also be his downfall, as was proved with Bubble last year.

I know why I like him ~ if you actually listen to him sometimes he is quite wise... OK so you have to get past all the sexual banter but it is there. Also he appears quite caring, I have no doubt that if he could have been involved in the 'drama' last night he would have been the first one to comfort Jade and calm the situation.

The only 2 reasons for keeping Spencer in are either "He's Genuine" or "he's sexy". It's all I've heard here, on the BB website and on BBLB. Can't they come up with something more original? A different reason, maybe? or isn't there one? No, I thought not.

If Spencer was genuine, he'd call PJ on his misogynism in all of those little chats. He doesn't.

Or maybe he's genuinely the same sort of women hating wannabe women abusing misogyinist that PJ is?

Spencer & Alex are both good for the show and generally for the reasons that both their supporters quote. It's a shame that one has to go.

The house is not just about humour and entertainment. There's a lot of intrigue, mystery and "reality" on show in there. You can read something from every action you watch and the more you watch the more you can look into the characters involved and the inter-relationships which are changing by the minute.

If you just watch the show for humour/entertaiment then you're better off watching a sit-com, soap or a film cos you get what you want quicker and without all the other stuff interferring and slowing the action down.

If humour is all that Alex was worth then I'd say kick him out without a second thought ... but there's more to both Alex & Spencer than just humour.

Personally, I tend support Spencer because he's a pillow of genuiness and lives to do his own thing without worrying about peer pressure or anything else. Life's about getting out of it what we want .... no more, no less. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to have gotten something out of life.

Spencer knows what he wants in life just now and it may seem of low order to some folk but I reckon he's happy and satisfied and getting a load more out of life than many folk that think they're so darn good compared to this guy.

Oh I get really annoyed with all the Spencer's fit and Spencer's cool talk. I don't care either way I'm a bloke so it doesn't bother me at all. I also have been talking to my friends about and they are all voting Spencer, People are fed up of his boringness I can't think of one exciting thing that has happened in the house involving Spencer.

Hello, Alexandrio here!
I wonder if Spencer has actually got off his flabby arse today?! Has he done anything interesting? (cept for saying disgusting things to Kate?) Is he a 'cool' and 'genuine' person?
NO to all the above, GET HIM OUT!!
Alex is soooo much nicer!

What gets me is when the anti-Alex brigade can only come up with the fact he is camp/a woman/the usual poking fun at what they perceive his sexuality to be.

Even if Alex is, as he says in his own words, effeminate isn't it just further proof of the great british tradition of camp comedy:

Frankie Howerd
Kenneth Williams
Charles Hawtree
Graham Norton

Let's keep Alex in and revel in any camp comedy!

The majority of those I've spoken to who want to keep Soencer in are the pop idol generation who think he's fit. Well he'll still be fit outside the house - in fact vote him out and you can revel in Spencer features in papers and magazines for weeks to come but as a contestant in the BB house he isn't cutting the mustard.

He doesn't instigate any interesting conversations or situations. He's like a wet weekend in Belgium just sitting their puffing away on his fags before the strenous journey back to bed....

My first post by the way

Jack is more than slightly baffled that the 3rd rate hack that is G Norton, should be included in the same list as the MIGHTY K Williams...
(Like the other day someone compared Spencer to JAck Dee!)

People have very short memories.

This time last week we had the most entertaining night in Big Brother's history when spurred on by Sandy's imminent departure, Spencer lead the revolution and broke all the rich/poor house rules. As dawn broke it was clear that for the first time Big Brother had lost complete control. Jonny and Kate had confronted Sandy. PJ & Jade had shared an intimate moment and, if you believe the Guardian, so had Sophie and Lee. Sandy peed in the bin. Spencer crossed the divide 13 times, Kate twice. Where was Alex during all this? Appologising to Big Brother and complaining about "peer pressure" for him breaking the rules.

When this was broadcast on the highlight show all signs of rebellion were edited out, the only part we saw was the housemates being told off and Spencer and Kate getting strikes.

People now say that Spencer is boring but he is on his second week on the poor side, he has nothing to do but sleep and try and pass the week as fast as possible. Last week when Alex was on the poor side he did the same. Most of Alex's high camp moments have happened when he is drunk.

I wish it hadn't come to this and that both of the two strongest characters in the house could stay in longer, but if you really want th show to stay entertaining for the rest of it's run vote out Alex, get Spencer on the rich side and sit back and watch the fireworks.

If Spencer stays in and gets on the rich side there won't be fireworks - just him slumped on the sofa with a drink and cigerette haze, hardly entertaining.

ITA Rennie - and thats the main problem with Spencer -easy on the eye - so he gets the young girly vote but in terms of future entertainment he scores a big fat zero

If you watch him during the day he doesn't do much, if you watch it at night he does. When he goes on Friday expect the rest of the housemates to be in bed by 1am everynight. It's a matter of taste, and by the way, I'm not a teenage girl, but a straight male in his thirties, who prefers to watch someone who isn't afraid to break the rules.

I agree...though not the past two nights as the lot of them have been in bed early which is a pity as I tend to watch quite a lot after midnight.

In reply to "Spencer boring?" One of only two to have a strike for breaking the rules? Causes BB many headaches with his tricks. Teases people endlessly and can take critisism without a care. Washes as often as anyone else but puts up with the little digs people have about him as he expects others to put up with his teasing in return (and many don't). Great sense of dry humour...Intellegent, caring - though he acts cool...I could go on.

How can you compare Alex? Alex who's entertaining because he's clueless about how to interact with people without causing friction? That's not nice to watch...the poor guy needs lesson in basic human relationships...giving people respect for their own opinions etc. He has had a few rare moments of being funny on purpose, but he usually messes that up by being so pleased with himself and needy of more attention that he pushes things further and wonders why people don't keep laughing. Alex who despite critisising others for their hygine has himself done gross things...but when he does it, its OK of course...

People who don't "get" Spencer (or Dean in BB2) seem to be the sort who like obvious humour, or obvious clowns. Personally I prefer my comedy more subtle...if you don't have to think about something being funny the laugh quickly fades. If something takes thought to appreciate then the laugh lingers and is more rewarding for the effort needed to get it.

Also, there are few people in the house who've talked about life in any meaningful way...most conversations revolve around "I did this, he said that, does my bum look big in this?" Spencer is one of the few who I've listened to talking about life, l feelings, desires for the future...but I bet people who don't watch E4 late at night ever see that side of him? Its never been shown on C4 as far as I've seen?

Oh, and as a 30+ straight male with no appreciation of Spencer's or Alex's looks I'm certainly not judging on appearances.

So for the record, Spencer does wash, is not really a sexist I don't believe as what I've seen is said in jest, not a homophobic (again, in jest), is not lazy when later in the evening, IS a rebel and intellegent witty guy with some really amusing moments....those are the reasons I want Alex out...who is painful to watch in his awkwardness, is about as funny as a car crash for that reason, and has added little but negative things to my experience of watching the housemates....

Fav Spencer moments so far:

Starting the rebelion on Sandy's last night.
Playing blindfold darts with Kate last night.
Being showered by PJ and Jade late at night

...hmmm, I notice that all of those end in the word "night"...any spot a trend? Since his sleeping is usually during the DAY, I guess you don't watch much when he's awake? Pitty you, you're missing the best bits of BB...BB2 was also much better after midnight most nights than before.

Personally, I think people who's watching includes 10pm-4am should be the only people who's votes count for evictions
