im sure all of you have noticed this

if it werent for den, EE would have been axed

1. Dens Dead Day - 14.5Million approx
1month after
2.million viewers approx

Den Dug Up - 10Million approx

it seems that even when den is dead he still makes EE good

if it were Jim or Sam dug up it would have just been a 5million

--------------------

just because Leslie is a "webcam" kinda guy didnt mean they had to go that far and axe him

-------------------------

i reckon they can still bring den back if they want ee to live

e.g

the body werent dens
when chrissie hit den and was about to burie him - he could have escaped and thrown some kind of corpse or guy there lol and mushed up his face to look like him and planted his clothes on him

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN EE IF CHRISSIE GETS AWAY FROM BIENG JAILED!

I MEAN ANYTHING!!

after den and phil - (im a EE fan) EE will probaly die of its viewers

because i know a couple hundreds that are taking it of there screens

Eastenders isn't dead without Den. They just need more popular storylines like these instead of the whole Shannis "I'm your adopted sister... But I want you... But my dad... Let's do it... Oh no!!!" crap and don't even get me started on Molfie. Most of the storylines in EE recently have been done before and are now being repeated but dragged out longer. I just wish they'd get their act together

EastEnders would be dead if it weren't for Den yeah right!!!

Den died in 1989 as well if you remember and we've had episodes like the Sharongate tape episode after that.

OK so he helped them get the highest audience ever recorded for a british soap and he was good back in the day and had some great storylines but the show moved on without him and he came back again and has helped pull in good ratings again on a few occasions but the show will move on once more. He's not actually been living and breathing in the show since February.

There was still a lot of brilliant stuff when Den wasn't in it. Besides, when Den returned - some of the episodes (including him) were stil utter crap

The police woman in plain clothes used to be in Casualty as Eve. She left to become a missionary IIRC

To say bring Den back is ridiculous now, although i think they could've before they discovered the body.

You could've had Sam hacking away for the body, and then realising theres nothing there, with Den walking in
"You looking for summit?"

It wouldve been brilliant for his return this week, to shock Chrissie big time, and then shock Sharon and Dennis.
I know that there is tonnes they can do with the Mitchells with him being dead and the trouble Sam is in because of it, but i think it would've been great to of had Den in it with the Mitchells, with all the possible confrontations etc.
Even an affair with Peggy

Mitchells have given EE their most consistent ratings and explosive storylines.
Love em or hate em.
