Definitely not. The housemates knew what they were getting into when they signed up. If nothing else it would be really unfair on those in the house who aren't football fans - what about those (eg Tim) who are really into tennis - BB would end up having to show parts of Wimbledon etc etc.

I say Yes, but that's me... I've been through the reasons before, not the least of which is the mileage they could get from filming their reactions (Sky News: Here were the reactions in Liverpool... London...Manchester... and the Big Brother House) :P

What is the point in stopping them watching something that only happens once every 4 years - what is it achieving?

yeah, I think it would be too tight to apply the usual rules to the World Cup... and provided they can satisfactorily perform a real challenge. The girls footie thing was a joke.

Well yes, can't disagree that they knew what was what BUT I still can't see what it's achieving.
Do we derive any pleasure from their deprivation of this event? What will we gain while their not watching it - zilch! because we'll all be watching the game and not them. |

dunno about friday but it'd be funny if they showed them a fake final on final day-any old match with the sound edited off and then switch off before the (non existent) presentation of the jules rimet!!
now that would screw with their minds! |

Not to mention The fact that world News is far more important than football and they don't get to see that,

They should only be allowed to watch the World Cup Final should we get there. Wether they agreed to the rules or not, England in a world cup final would be the single largest event this country has seen for 46 years.

yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! er, that's a yes... who will be watching them on the live feed when The Game is on? not many, that is for sure... if the unmentionable happens (i.e. england win) then it'll be really nice to see them all happy and positive. if the result goes the other way we can tune in and displace all our negative vibes onto jade, who would be bound to cry. ahhh come on guys - you gotta let them see the match. everyone else in england's going to be watching it. isn't there something in the human rights act on this? yeah but the news is on every day - over and over, and there's not a lot going on in the word (nothing as so big as the world cup)... surely importance is subjective?ta ra d |

ONLY if they have to do either a fiendishly difficult task or one that involved a long duration - a marathon run around the garden
or 10,000 sit ups between them !!

Hello, Pistachio here!
No, i don't think they should be allowed, if England get to the final, they should be allowed to watch it, but otherwise no way! They are not told when any other major news happens, so what makes this any different? NOTHING!! Yours Crunchily Alexandrio Pistachio

YES WATCH THE GAME
Yes, Yes, Yes. The HM should watch the game. This could be Englands bigest game for nearly 40 Years and No English man should be unable to watch it.
How cruel can BB be, after all they are not in Prison, just playing a game. Does anyone realy think it will spoil the show if they were allowed to watch, at least it will get them up early.
