I've not yet seen a good reason for why they should watch the game other than "well England are doing good." The housemates chose to go and live in there, they didn't have to miss the football, it's their own choice. I wouldn't miss the football ('cause I don't care what happens), but I would miss Wimbledon if I was there. If I'd chosen to go in I doubt I'd be whinging about it though.

I think that if they are to be allowed to watch a match, there should be some sort of task or pay off to it. For example they should be told that there will be no alcohol for one week, or that they should have to power the TV through a dynamo on a treadmill or exercise bike. Or give them a proper, difficult task.

I say shove the football though, their own fault if they miss it.

How cruel can BB be, after all they are not in Prison, just playing a game.
Does anyone realy think it will spoil the show if they were allowed to watch, at least it will get them up early.
This will only be Englands 'biggest game' if we reach the finals.

The quarter finals just shouldnt count.

Have you seen any good one's for why they shouldn't other than ..... they knew what they were letting themselves in for.

I don't see why the hms should be allowed to watch the world cup - they all new it was on when they applied at that they wouldn't be able to see it.

Perhaps if England get to the final they have an ultra trying task but for other matches - no.

Football isn't the only thing (this may be a revelation to some ) and it doesn't seem fair that BB would give in and let them watch football when there's relms of other big events they are and will miss.

I hope they don't give them the game as it means watching the streams with no sound again the whole time that it is on,

Not neccesarily, the last time they showed them football they didn't have any sound on the broadcast, and the housemates talked about the football.

that if England get to the final then just before the game is due to start Big Brother should order all housemates to go into the living room area of the house (and have any sleepers woken up) where they will be greated by the site of the tv saying (in writing on it) "What will follow is the World Cup Final 2002" then it should click onto the tv coverage (sound absent of course so as for them not to find out any additional information about the rest of the outside world and the tournament) and there they would behold the England Squad lining up ready to play.

Their reactions would be priceless...they'd think it was a wind up...but if they don't get to see it then they would know that something was happening as if we did get that far and win the car noises etc would be too obvious and Spanky's calander would indicate the day it was anyway...
