there is being clean and then there is obsession, Alex does not even border on obsession its way beyond that, much more so than most women would even consider as normal.

You need to look at the HM's as being there for fun and frolics and some of their actions would show their true personalities, Alex has been a total woman since day 3, the only respite was for a couple of days while he was on the poor side of the house, now he's back on the rich side, his whinging and whining is becoming more intense, he is completely ignoring Tim the newboy in favour of Sophie & Adele.

I'm just adding my name to this thread because I am SICK of the "ooh but I love Alex" posts!

Spencer has not had a chance to shine having been stuck on the poor side for two weeks and I'd really like to see what happens with him on the rich side.

Unfortunatly the poor side is very boring for the HMs and you end up acting like your surroundings IMO.

People complain because Spencer is always asleep, but I think this is also because of where he is, I think they all stay up late and rise late so they don't have to 'watch' the rich side eating and drinking too much.

Also people say he doesn't wash but he does! He isn't washing his clothes as a protest at being on the poor side.

That's clearly nonsense. When Alex was living on the poor side, he got on with it, and was witty and funny and good natured. He didn't sulk or throw tantrums. The poor side always seemed to be doing things and having a good time.

Alex most certainly shone on the poor side, perhaps more than he has on the rich side. But to say that Spencer's staying on the poor side has forced him into a poor light is to ignore the facts.

He said at the before Saturdays task that he still had plenty of clean clothes left. If he packed enough clean clothes why bother doing his laundry.

One thing about Spencer is that if BB took all the fags away fromt he house, not allowing Spencer to continue Chain Smoking, he would walk, while all the other smokers would try and cope. It's only the fags that's keeping him in.

Spencer seems cool because he doesn't say much and looks good.

spencer is not sexist, or homophobic. granted he has made passing comments about alex, that he shouldnt have - cuz they might hurt alex. but i have so many male friends who are like that. its their 'alpha male' crap that bb psychs are always harping on about. its part of many men (straight) and i personally hate it. they are just threatened by men in touch with their feminine side. so spencer is relatively normal.
hmmm, my post sounds against spencer... which im not. i like spencer, but i fear saying this here, as i may get a mouthful from everyone who loves alex. im afraid to say, even tho spence is my fav, i think he will be evicted tm. its a shame
