But ... the folk who seem to like Alex lean their reasoning towards him being "in touch" with the feminine side. Well, if you read my post yesterday I explained that I can see why women like that, but he's just a women in a man's body. Commeth the hour commeth the man , Some nice cameos of Spencer tonight on BBLB and C4 (what a difference a day makes and I was slagging them off last night) A quality that came through to me was his honesty the lad calls a spade a spade and I think the HMs recognise this witness Jade seeking his opinion of her actions he told her straight can't remember it verbatum something like (Jade) was I rude to you last night (Spencer) No -(pause) you insulted each and everyone of us, he told her with a smile you were well out of order he also suggested that she didn't stop drinking ,just drink less she went off smiling ( Does she have an older brother?).Who else could have got away with those comments it's the first time I've seen Jade not having the last word.His diary room opinion of Alex was honest and refreshing "I didn't like him at first now I do quite like him but every two days or so he gets on my tits" He never uses 10 words when 1 will do. Don't mistake this for being lazy in communication he just doesn't talk for the sake of it,he has mastered a difficult skill of using his eyes,ears and mouth-In that order, He's a slow burner, if he stays in his character will be appreciated by others outside of his current fanclub.
Remember that Sandy was complimentary post eviction (it had to dragged out of him), I would wager that the producers manning the diary room look forward to the mental challenges he sets them, personally from what I've seen despite their power he dominates them by clever use of the microphone pauses that BB thinks is their exclusive tool.Most other HMs sit in the chair like frightened rabbits feeling they have to fill the empty spaces with their ramblings.He is a complex character in a house full of transparent stereotypes.

very well put oldgit. I was pleasantly surprised with tonight's editing of the show. For once there didn't seem to be any bias towards a particular nominee.

My vote: Keep Spencer in and get the whinging woman out

Hope Jade and PJ get nominated next week and in a new 'twist', both get evicted.

After tonight's positive portrayal (deservedly) of Spencer, he may just have some chance tommorow night. Although there's no way in hell I'd bet on him staying in.

Not to be too cynical, but isn't spencer favourite to be evicted, so they are going to try to get spencer some more votes, I fear the damage has been done.

In the past around half of all votes have been on a Friday. Maybe there's some hope for Spencer yet.

I personally think Alex should go, Spencer just needs a shot at the title of Rich side, where he can milk the drinking sitituation. Only reason people are saying Alex should stay, is either one of the following.....

1) Women fancy him
2) He had to make a decision (big deal)
3) He can spice things up, my kebabs spicer?
4) He is a bitch in a mans body? who cant handle a drink...
5) He like cleanliness (new man? wise up girls)

Spencer (reason for staying?)

1) He is the peoples champion..
2) His reasons for eveivting seem more logical....
3) So he pisses on the toilet seat, what guy doesnt? Alex has perfect aim? unless he sits....
4) Him and Kate seem to have a great frienship going on....

That's true, but if this forum represents the rest of the public, and the bitterness shown, a lot of votes have already been cast. Also the news that betting was suspended on spencer being evicted is a good indicator. C4 have tried to redress the balance tonight, and it will be interesting to hear Davina's script. But spencer staying will be a very big shock

The prospect of keeping Spencer in is becoming more and more endearing. I agree with all your points plus the fact that Alex leaving would have an excellent effect on Adele. If anyone is watching the live E4 now then Adele and Tim are completley sucking up. Adele to the point of 'I dont know what ill do if you go' etc. If Alex goes tommorow hopefully Adele may follow, if she ends up being the winner and I voted for Spencer today Id never be able to forgive myself.

On BBLB Dermot said that the 1.5 million votes had been cast so far which is the most ever at this stage.

That could be because there is an audience boost on the night, I know that sounds bloody obvious but hear me out, most who post to these and other sites threads probably watch C4 every night and a fair percentage pick up on the E4 streams and BBLB not to mention the odd snipits in the tabloids and various radio stations we (posters) form opinions based on maximum absorption of whats out there but come eviction night the greater majority switch on make instinctive judgements and bugger me the answers a lemon (feeding you one there) I'm sure even the outcome of the England match earlier in the day will have an effect (butterfly flaps its wings on the otherside of the world.......) God I don't know

I don't think this forum does represent the rest of the public. Supposing that the 5000 odd people who voted in the poll only voted once each (which I sincerely doubt) that's still well within the margin of error for the poll. The pro-Alex campaign has been very vocal, whereas the pro-Spencer fans have been, like the man himself, rather laid back, but I should imagine that when they see Spencer may be out tomorrow they may be a late surge for him. I think it's still too close to call at the moment.

Personally I've not voted once and don't intend to.

Spencer supporters get rubbished and ridiculed here. All along they have all been labelled as "teenie voters" who only like Spencer because they fancy him but nothing wrong here with male posters liking and fancying Kate though ,and Alex supporters often refer finding him physically attractive but Spencer supporters do not jump on them saying that this is 'not a good enough reason to like him' And is "Spencer farts and is smelly" such a great argument to evict him?

But this week the 'you're just teenies who fancy him' has been replaced with all Spencer supporters being accused of never coming up with a good enough argument in support of Spencer. When Spencer supporters do provide what is being demanded of them by Alex Supporters (witness this thread), they are again dismissed and ridiculed. With Ch4 and the Bookies so blatently engineering Spencers' eviction I cannot understand what is making Alex supporters SO defensive?.

I'm also astonished and alarmed at how many anti-Spencer posters appear not to realise how much parody he uses in both his humour and behaviour and assume that just because he is not constantly vocalising he is boring. He has played the game with a deft subtelty that Adele and Alex can only dream of.

From spencer's point of view, I hope we beat Brazil tomorrow, cos I don't think you could drag him back in if he was evicted and found out we're in the semi's.

Notice on the official site Alex and Spencer are now both tied for popularity with 67%. Considering a few days ago Spencer was way ahead with Alex in about 6th it is definetley looking bad for the guy. Also out of the two Alex is rated one and Spencer two. Hmmm looks like even the mroe casual viewers who have been visiting the official site have been converted. Unless the polls on the official site have been flooded by a handful of people like the phone lines.

Like everyone, I was gutted that the two most popular were up for eviction this week and although a supporter of Alex from the start, I think Alex should be evicted for the sake of entertainment!!! NO LISTEN....Its pretty obvious Alex is Queen Bee in there,if he stays what fun is that going to be with everyones pecking order remaining pretty stagnant, and to be honest, I think we've seen the whole Alex, he's reached his peak and I doubt he'll want to, or even feels the need to show any more of himself now. Changing the subject,PJ the pig is starting to amuse big time! He's a good social mixer (oh get me) who cant help but run off at the mouth in wonky times... its what we are all thinking!!!.Quality! from my experience on these forums, the anti-spencer threads subside after midnight and the pro spencer ones increase, do the parents know that all these 15 year old girls are still up!!!!
