“from my experience on these forums, the anti-spencer threads subside after midnight and the pro spencer ones increase, do the parents know that all these 15 year old girls are still up!!!!”

I am tired of Spencer supporters repeatedly having to explain here that they are not all teenagers, and is accusing them of being so REALLY the best that Alex supporters can come up with?

Thank goodness for Oldgit, but I'm surprised the Alex supporters haven't brander your username ageist and insensitive. Shouldn't it be 'Slightly Grumpy Older Person?
”

I thought the Sandy handle would be too obvious (how do you get those funny faces to work?)

I know, from a male and far from being a teenager.

Quite like the description of Spencer as "People's Favourite", although it didn't do Aaron any good in Pop Idol.

The term relates to your "ordinary guy in the street done well" type, which suits Spencer down to the ground.

He' s an ordinary guy with a good sense of humour (very dry), apparently attractive to "many" girls, down-to-earth, genuine, evidently sensitive/understanding/caring (when it gets down to it - as tonight), is "himself" & does his own thing (come what may), can speak his mind, can joke, can take a joke, can live with other's failings (unlike Alex), can integrate when he wants and can spend time alone without "needing" others when he wants, can mix on a one-to-one (as even with Sandy - difficult as that may have been for most) or in a multitude (without necessarily having to be the centre of attention), doesn't think he's god's gift to women (like some of them), is a bit (no a lot) of a tease, speaks his mind (but not as to be insensitive), doesn't need to be a "rocket scientist" to fulfill his desires in life, doesn't pretend to be perfect (or anything near to it), doesn't try to change his character to benefit his rating in the show, isn't deceitful, IS VERY PLAYFUL ......... are we starting to give some reasons for why he is the "People's Favourite" or what!

HE IS THE JACK DEE OF BIG BROTHER 3.

Excellent post Paulh0202 but sadly pro-Alex posters will continue to label all pro-Spencer posters as unsupervised female teenagers who "just fancy him" and they will completely ignore your post as they have done every single pro-Spencer/neutral posts here up to now.

Here's hoping they will prove me wrong.

Given that:

1.Alex supporters here are constantly claiming that on this Forum he is far more popular than Spencer

2. CH4 edits and gambling rings have ensured that Spencer doesn't stand a chance of surviving tomorrow...

Why do so many of the pro-Alex supporters feel the need to keep *bumping* all the pro-Alex threads to keep them at the top of the board?

Good point...if anyone pro-Spencer (which in terms of a choice between Alex and Spencer includes me) is supposed to be a 15 y/o girl (I'm a 30+ y/o straight male)...then who are the anti-Spencer people? What demographic makes up the most Pro-Alex group? How does that group differ from the pro-Spencer group? Since most arguments in either direction posted here are shallow and facile then I can't help but conclude that most supporting groups are young, semi-litterate and females who fancy one more than the other....or any combination of those three....

HEY! You guys .... larf - I nearly wet myself.

I re-posted my thoughts on Spencer on their pro-Alex board, so if they keep bumping it to the top then my comments will keep going with it. Join in the pro-lad in the street "People's Favourite" campaign and post pro-Spencer stuff on the pro-Alex threads.

Dunno wether you guys saw the other thread, but they just said on the radio that as of early this morning Alex has 51% of the eviction vote. If it's true thats amazing considering the endless "keep Alex in campaigns"

on the ri:se polls, alex has nearly always won to stay in the house, but by a few percent. its really close.
im VERY VERY pleased to see that this thread has returned to pro-spencer, as that was its original intention.
all those ppl wanting better reasons for being us being pro-spencer are giving equally and more weak reasons for evicting him. 'he smells' oh my, that is seriously an offence.
my reasons for being pro-spencer? what about simply being drawn to him over alex. aswell as everything paul and oldgit have said, i am just simply intrigued by him. he has not ONCE played up to the cameras, he is totally him. this week we have seen a change in alex once he found out he was up for eviction. but spencer is still the same, just himself.
lets give spencer a chance, seeing as it seems its already in the bag for alex what with all his pro campaigns, betting rings and the like.....

The "Spencer is always in bed" argument is hillarious. Alex get's up on average at about 10am. He goes to bed on average at about 1am. Spencer get's up on average at about midday. He goes to bed on average at about 4am. Alex = 9 hours in bed. Spencer = 8-9 hours in bed.

Spencer is still a dirty, lazy, good for nothing layabout. the only things that seem to come out of his mouth is the stuff that comes out of his backside. He winges and moans and gets his own way like a spoilt brat. He is extremely boring to watch, he likes to break rules, has no consideration for others and above all I would hate to see him win the £70k, he would probably spend it all on booze, ciggies and some sort of sordid antics.

What would you spend it on, no let me guess, nice pair of slippers, a new Rover and some lawn feed for your garden !

Alex is winning the popularity vote on the C4 website by 1%. Over the last few Days Spencer's popularity has been dropping while Alex's has been growing.
