Can you cite some examples of when Alex has been smug or smarmy in the house? I haven't really seen him act like that at all apart from maybe the few days after his arguement with Johnny and he became an outcast. I think then he clicked with Sandy and became somewhat influenced by his slightly smug attitude.

I felt sorry for Alex during his diary room talk, he obviously has a hard time making friends and having relationships in real life becuase of his rather offbase personality and demeanor and he seemed genuinely happy to have been accepted by Adele and Jade and to have their friendship.

Sheesh I am sick to death of him using his modelling contract to name drop and make out he has been to / done better things then the other housemates . Ohhh I went to this club with so and so , and that club with so and so and TPT said this and kate moss said that etc

when Jonny was nominated for eviction last week he 'grinned' I didnt see Jonny grinning this week when Alex was up fpr eviction.

my gosh!! some people around here sure know how to twist things around big style, dont they? how you can misinterpret the comments made by sharonb as "more code for alex is gay" is way beyond me, it stretches to ludicrous proportions. i often find these type of comments keep coming from adele and alex supporters most often. why the need for such paranoia? personally i don not care either way about alex, but i just cannot stand adele. she is just far too deceitful/two faced/scheming/untrustworthy/bitchy (whatever other word you wanna use) for my liking. the people that keep coming here to defend her are SADLY SADLY misguided in my opinion. she will eventually turn on alex himself if he stays. you can bet your bottom dollar on that. just check out her previous history if you need further proof. for this reason alone i would be happy to see alex walk. just to see the look on adele's face would make it EXTREMELY worthwhile. there will be no one left for her to try and manipulate apart from maybe the brainless jade. even then, her pathetic gameplan still will not work in the end. the viewers will see to that if needs be.

O.K. thanks Sharon. I haven't watched the feeds enough I guess to see him do or say those things too much.

When he gets on the other houseguests cases for been messy etc or leaving drawers open etc it's just part of his OCD, my father has the same thing and it can be tough to live with and can be tough for the person who has it becuase it's tough to stop yourself from acting on it all the time, I think Alex has done a good job of controlling it these past couple of weeks.

There's little else to do but talk in the house and we all love gossip so of course Alex is going to talk about who he's met/seen whatever. At least he's done something. I've yet to hear Spencer speak about anything of the merest interest.

I don't think you can accuse Alex of playing the 'model card' he's been the first to admit he's been taken off the British books, he's not got the figure to do modelling for his age group now, he's happy to do catalogue work because it's a job to make money like any job at the end of the day.

We all do what we can to get through life and he can make a living by being photographed, though he's also well aware it can be short lived and he's talked of the future and the possibility of photography etc. He's never potrayed modelling as some dream job, it was really interesting to learn how models do the far-east market, lip model specialists and all that. Wasn't it Alex that encouraged Alison to follow up her modelling dream.

Alex has worked in a world where having a look or certain looks is just part of the tools of the trade. Spencer and Kate are probably used to being a in a small home area and being attractive makes them 'big fish in a small pond' I don't think they can understand that Alex isn't actually moved by people looks.

I'm one of those sad sacks who leaves the live BB feeds on to replace normal TV, and I have never heard him refer to modelling at all, let alone namedrop any buddies or talk about parties. Perhaps I've just seen different sections to you.

alex was more sensitive in the diary room because he was drunk as a skunk but how sweet to see how a few words of kindness had pleased him so much.alex is considerate and kind and deserves to stay put his honesty and openess is refreshing in a house full of backstabbers.he may be mocked for his cleanliness and funny ways but i think hes stuck to his guns and turned most of the houses opinions of him round, and hes done it in a fair and honest way.he looks good aswell so how much of the jibes from the other guys is based on jealousy?

when alex comes out (hopefully being the last one) he can hold his head up high and i bet his family are proud as punch of their son not to mention the mass of female attention hes going to get.

This is the reason why I'd prefer Alex to go, simply because Adele is using him for her own ends, and Alex said in the diary room about how he always picks the wrong one's, he genuinly believes Adele fancies him, and she is going to try and milk it for the highlights shows this week. If he stays he is heading for a big fall, because of Adele. All you anti-spencer fans try and see this, and think about it. Don't let it become gang related as it's just playground mentality.

I thought Alex was really sweet that time in the diary room. He'd been drinking so that was why he seemed a bit too emotional, but it shows he appreciated the compliments. He'd said another time that people always ask him if he's gay and take the p*ss out of him for being in touch with his feminine side. He was touched by what Adele and Jade said to him, and it made him feel good about himself. Now wheres the harm in that?

during week one in the house adele was asked in the diary room if there was anyone she was attracted to.
her answer was alex as she found him quiet and gentle and she liked those qualities in a man but she said it was too early to say.
so all those people who think adele is using alex to fuel her own popularity are wrong.you only have to look at adeles face to see that she is genuinely smitten by him.i think she just didnt think she would stand a chance with him in the beginning but having got to know him she has realised that he is not the sort of person who would laugh in her face if she told him she liked him and shes gone for it.

lee sidetracked adele from alex and i think she was taken up with the attention lee gave her.however he soon showed his true colours and thank god adele soon realised what type of person lee was.

adele and alex seem to have a nice easy relationship in the house whether it goes one step further or not they get on well and enjoy a flirt so enjoy it.
