How you people see things progressing today ? She is already on the Rose, using those Massive glasses. |

Housemate's will probably stop her before things get messy. They've all now witnessed exactly what can happen if Jade drinks too much, they won't put up with it or allow it to happen again IMO.

Sadly, the very fact they are letting her drink now is crazy in itself.
She clearly can not control herself, someone needs to take control of her instead. Jade : Someone please take that bottle away from her... cause we all know where is it going to end later tonight. |

They might find it difficult to stop Jade drinking. It looks that she can't go through a day without a drink now. The problem is that as it starts so early in the day she is pretty pissed by evening and loses control / bursts into tears very easily. I read in another post that it may be a good idea to get her out of there for her own good...

I don't understand why she is doing it to herself. Why drink all day?!? If it's the boredness why doesn't big brother give them a task to do! Or are they actually hoping she stirs something up!?

Jades' Drinking
Let her drink - she obviously enjoys making a "chipstick" out of herself and lets face it the others enjoy mocking her when she's falling about saying stupid things.....

Well, i've noted how much i think this sorry situation is simply dreadful.
However, there is a tiny part of me, that smiles, knowing the likely scenes later this evening. A drunk wild jade sure makes for good viewing, even though she should NEVER be allowed to drink considering her fight with adele. |

Someone should tell her hat if she wins the task on Saturday she can be the ONLY person in the rich side next week with £400 to spend on drink! That would be worth watching . .they'll be shouting at her through the bars to stop!

Sorry to all the do-gooders, but last nights C4 highlights was the funniest TV I've seen in ages. I was like a hyena on acid.
Jade's Sherlock Holmes/Inspector Morse/Mr Heinstein/Mother Teresa ramble was pure Father Dougal, and then when she was at the bars giving it....."boo, hoo am I ming'ging?" you just couldn't write comedy that funny. And then you had Spencer in the bedroom flinging a banana skin over his shoulder and letting rip. If only Alex had been there............ |

Yeah, it was great Tv. Classic.
What exactly does 'minging' suppose to mean 'on the streets' anyway. |

minging can mean, ugly, dirty, smelly, or disgusting in any way.
Sarah (yep Jade is a minger, and she's annoying too, but I still feel sorry for her) |

i know jade is young, but i cant help wondering if she will end up leaving the house a alcoholic! i think BB should only let them drink alcohol after a certain time of the day. Its obvious Jade cant handle the drink - so why does everyone allow her to get in that state, yes i know its good viewing.

Thank goodness, some sense, I thought I was on my own in the opinion that Jade is drinking too much.
I know its good viewing, and I enjoyed watching her make a prat of herself with the rest of you, but enoughs enough. They should do something about it before she's either an alcoholic or her liver completely packs in.

Didn't she mention on the night of the big catfight that the BB doctor had mentioned she had a drinking problem ?
If he did, then he needs to tell her when she's sober enough to remember

It's really sad. Never before have the housemates been given so little to do - nothing to read, no minitasks - I think I'd be drinking myself silly in there to escape the monotony. It's a dangerous situation for Jade and she'd be much better off out of it.

I say let them drink, it's more entertaining and at the end of the day they are all adults (even Jade) and are fully aware of the results of drinking, they also knew what they were letting themselves in for by being on this show, past series have always proved more entertaining when there is drinking and things get out of hand, even old Alex seems to have become a drinker recently after initially rejecting drinking, makes him even more interesting, think that's where Spencer has suffered since being on the poor side, give him drink quick
Here's to more arguments & drunken parties......

I too have laughed at things Jade has said, been amazed by some of her antics, however there is a part of me that feels a bit guilty. Would I mock someone outside of the house with learning difficulties, would I enjoy seeing them make themselves a mockery. I wonder how the house experience is going to impact on Jade when she leaves. I hope she has plenty of inner strength to deal with all the ribbing and judgements people have made. Im no do gooder, but do have at least one decent bone in my body.

I fully agree, let them drink, it is entertaining. But Jades drinking is getting out of hand, and once the booze gets hold of you, its really hard spiral to get out of

maybe a lawsuit......
I don't know because BB may well make HM's sign some sort of legal disclaimer, but in today's litigation society I think Jade will have a good case for metal and emotional distress when she gets out. Maybe PJ could represent her or even better Sunita the legal clerk who is also a trained barrister.
Seriously though, BB does have a responsibilty to the HM's (not just the Bank Manager) and I think that they should at least make an efforrt to try and stop her drinking. Maybe they could think up a mini task that Jade would do well in and mayybe even take a lead role in. Something like last year when HM's had to teach each other their skills, maybe something using her dental nurse skills. I think that this would give her a confidence boost and maybe calm her drinking a bit. |

I have only just come in from the pub!!! (no, only diet cola)
If Jade has started drinking and kicks off again tonight then I hope she is removed from the house by the BB team. IMHO The other housemates have no legal responsibility towards her and don't have to stop her (unless they feel a moral responsibility, and why should they?). Whoever would try would be seen by Jade as doing something against her and she will kick off anyway. At the end of the day she is old enough to drink. Banning booze totally or partially is not fair on the others who don't seem to have that much of a problem in the way it affects them. And they are adults too. However, BB DO have a responsibility towards her as they are the ones who put her there, having screened her medical history and personal profiles. Surely the clues were there. |
