If we are talking a version of BB with teenagers, then I do not see how that is a good idea.... teenagers get seriously home sick within days for starters. Mind, they made such a cock up of BB3 expect the unexpected!!!!

Wasn't there endless talk of this a few weeks ago on the official board before they neutered it?

What's the point of posting a bit of news that you can't confirm without getting someone the sack? Also, if it's going to be in tomorrows newspapers, then surely you can tell us without fear of retribution.

Anyway, Channel 4 recently had a Cutting Edge show where they had a group of 10 (or 12, I don't remember) 10-12 year old boys in a house on their own for a week. Seeing how they coped without their parents there to look after them.

They wrecked the place.

Firstly this messes with the minds of grown adults, Jade and Penny to name just 2 examples, this could affect kids for the rest of their lives, and infact ruin the rest of their lives.
Imagine the number of perverts watching the show to see the 14 year old girls in their bikinis and the boys walking around topless?
Anything they did in there could possibly break the law.
Their parents would be watching and so they would not let go.
Plus what would be the point of a teenage version exactly? channel 4 would be absolutely SLATED: accused of encouraging children to swear, have sex etc etc

I'd like personally to see a cat as a housemate in BB4.

If there really is going to be a teen BB (and I can't see it happening other than for a Comic Relief style one week special) the kids will have to be older than 16 (18 if they want to allow drinking) or there would have to be special supervision. Plus, what Sazz said.

emzi restalez said:I'd like personally to see a cat as a housemate in BB4.
Is this going back to before Sophie came in and some 'inside sources' were claiming it would be someone called Rachel, who was 23, and from Longleat, Wiltshire. Hobbies included 'climbing trees' and 'growling'.

This led to speculation that people were either taking the piss, or that the new housemate was a lion

kevy - I'll ask again. If it's going to be in the papers tomorrow (and I don't buy the tabloids) why can't you tell us anyway?

There is no way that they will be able to show children (ie under 18's) and even do the show with it. For a start kids are far more volatile than adults and so will be more likely to start a bullying campaign or resort to violence. Secondly think about all the stuff that E4 has to censor with the adults, they would be really pushing the limit if they had children in states of undress and using bad language no matter what time of day or night.

Sorry kevy but you are either making this up or somebody is feeding you duff information. Even if your cousin does work for BB I doubt he'd be shouting his mouth off to you - and should you really be risking his job in this way if he is family?

Becuase paedophiles don't sit around all day waiting to catch a glimpse of a young boy's chest. I'm sure they have other material to, erm, stimulate them.
And what does it matter if they did? Is anyone getting hurt? No.

they may be in talks but i doubt it would ever come off. they wouldnt be able to do anything (drink etc), there would be too much critism, the age boundries would be too restricted to make it interesting, people would get bored, kids would be too self-conscious, parents watching, wouldnt be able to handle the press afterwards. I could go on. It just wouldnt work

Sorry mate but if you watched BBC2's Thursday night series of 3 programmes about paedophiles - last one tonight at 9pm - you'd find that that is exactly what they do.
It then leads on to taking photos and actual abuse.
The programme has been so sickening that at times I've felt nauseous.
No paedophile 'just watches' - they all lead up to abusing kids and even the ones who just look at 'other material' are looking at pictures of kids who are being abused and are therefore party to that abuse.
I hope you don't have children because you seem very naive about the risks they face.

lol
NSPCC SPOKESPERSON: Yes, although our entire charity is involved in preserving the rights of children, it should be OK to put 12 of them in a house, isolated from their parents and the outside world, for 9 weeks with basic food rations facing the threat of humiliation and exclusion all the way along, that's fine!In fact, here's the number of a few secondary schools who may be able to help you out! Go for it, should make great TV!
