About time too! It was also said that in this weeks task there'll be a winner and loser, winner picks HM's to go on rich side, loser picks HM's to go on the poor side!

I like the way he said (and lied); "the bars where ever only intended as a temporary thing" - when the housemates instructions clearly read that it was a "permenant part of the show".

Obviously the public outrage changed their minds.....

To play devil's advocate here.. perhaps they told the housemates that so they wouldn't assume they were going, and thus could do a task to bring them down?

The loser will be very popular when they pick people to live in the poor side with them. I hope PJ picks Jade, Alex,Tim and Sophie.

I have a feeling the bars were meant to stay in place, but the public has been so negative about it, the've had a rethink and will take them down in two or three weeks (depending on whether the HMs win the task).

Now that I know the bars will be coming down soon, I can relax and enjoy the next week/s with bars...and the resulting tension.

I just hope they DON'T tell the housemates that the bars are coming down! Let them worry about it a bit longer.

The Bars are going
Wahey!

All that's left now is for them to scrap the online fee, re-introduce the longer tasks, and it'll be crackin'.

I think the bars would come down in the last couple of weeks anyway. When there's only 3 or 4 people in the house the divide wouldn't really work as well.

What they should do, is tell the housemates that emergency maintenance needs to be done, involving the bedrooms, and so everyone has to go to the diary room (which is soundproof).

That way, we get to see their shock reactions when they find out theyre not split any more.

I'm pleased that the bars will be coming down, but if it's in 2 weeks time there will only be 5 housemates left. I was hoping that they would go sooner than that.....oh well, at least we know they will be gone soon.

cool ... glad to hear this as I keep forgetting people are in there!! like i was thinking kate had been evicted earlier LOL then she wandered past, then thought jonny had been. It's just all a bit boring during the week while the bars are there, i think the tasks and finding out who will be on which side and their reactions are quite good but during the week it just gets a bit tedious.

hope that made some sense anyway glad the bars are 'getting the eviction treatment' lol

They're going down in just over a week, so not this Saturday, but the next. Therefore that'll leave... 7. Yep, 7 house mates... i think

Big Brothers Big Cheese seem to think that Jades outburst was because of the bars, I reckon it would of happened anyway and how much better if all the housemates had got involved!!

The way Big Brothers Big Cheese was talking about how great they are I wont be surprised to see them in BB4

Im sick, sick, sick of seeing those stupid bars, take em out NOW and melt em down.

I must admit, the bars have started to grow on me ... I was really excited when they first went up, but then BB was so dull for the first week after. But I love the tension it's caused in this past week - and I think the poor HM's have been hilarious! I love the way Spencer and Kate keep trying to break the rules. Was really funny on C4's show last night when they showed Kate gagging for a Pringle - but she didn't dare touch it - LMAO!

Can't wait for Saturday's show - let's hope they get a decent task though!

Glad the bars are coming down too - they have provided some entertainment - and the two people picking teams on Saturday is going to be good TV - I hated that at school - we always did it for football and I was always last to be choosen - its going to be the other way round on Saturday - imagine being first to be choosen for the poor side...

The selection of "moments" that BBLB (pronounced BL'B) choose to illustrate how good the bars where where pretty pathetic - for me the only really good things about them where the two saturdays - they spoiled Sandys leaving do (although I guess the strikes where funny) and the spoiled Jades argument - she was up for fghting anyone and given that PJ,Spencer and Johnny would probably have been drunk too it should have been much more fun.
