Was that him singing 'Your cheatin' heart'?

If so, I really like him.

Was he the one that looked like he belonged in Westlife from the Belfast auditions?

If so he was okay but much prefer Shane.

Oh yeah I preferred Shane too, but Phillip was good.

I do not get what Sharon didn't see.

Give that guy the right song...a bit of rock, or Elvis, and he has the X factor for sure.

She wants a rock guy..but maybe she is worried as she knows she will not get the 16-24 group this year as she had it last year.

I would have thought he would be right up her street and can see him as a potential finalist. He has that whole James Dean smirk thing going on.

Tabby fan here.

I don't always get Sharon, sometimes I think she takes a personal view too much.

I kinda know him, he went to my school and worked with my best mate for a year or so. I have to say, I don't know if I like him or not, he's a bit arrogant although, saying that he has got a good voice, and the person who said about Elvis songs in a previous reply is absolutely right, he sings in bars around the town here sometimes and its always elvis, in fact he won an Elvis impersonation contest on the Kelly show not that long ago and was in our school musical of Joseph, playing the Pharaoh (Elvis type part, lol.) As I say, he is a bit arrogant but I guess I'm behind him as he is a local lad and the only other vaguely famous person from my town was Keith Semple (One True Voice hehe, lets hope he doesn't go the same way lol.)

Thanks for the background info.

I think Sharon thought he was a bit arrogant, I didn't pick up on it myself, but then it's hard to tell at this stage.

We'll have to see in the boot camp stage, what he's like as a person. For now though, his style and voice have won meover so far.

Yeah, although I'm backing him because of the local thing, I must say I was happy with Sharon who wasn't blinded by him like Simon and Louis were (they nearly 'gasmed )

lol, not as far as I know, and he certainly didn't bully me, then again I was a few years below him. I think, overall he is a nice guy, with a good voice, just slightly arrogant but, I guess there aren't many singers etc. that aren't a bit arrogant. For the record, his younger brother Paul, who is my age, is better looking
