Nobody on earth could be as clueless as Jade is making herself out to be. Surely to be a dental nurse you must have to have some common sense. She is trying to make herself into another Helen (BB2) and is failing miserably.

She's playing one of the cleverest games in the house.... She's extremely street-savvy and knows how to look after herself.. Observe her switching from one power-base to the next... She'll stab anyone and everyone in their back to survive..

You can cover it up and down the country - the fact remains that she understands how to keep in favour by adapting her relationships between housemates.. This suggests that she is much more *clever* than people actually make out. Just because she 'appears' to be dumb does not mean that for one moment she is .. I'm sorry, but this is much closer to the truth than some babble youmight have come out with ..

she may feel she's keeping favour but the body language of the HM's in todays program suggest they arnt falling for it, at least not anymore, she's so totally transparent, if she had ANY wits about her she's be far more crafty, as it is, she's just desperate and rather grotesque in her actions

I don't think Jade is unintelligent so much as chronically under-educated and immature. She seems eager to learn and I'm sure the people where she works find that she picks things up easily enough that she can hold down her job competently.
Worryingly, I fear she represents a whole new generation of young people who for various reasons are under schooled due to truancy or poor teaching.
On the bright side, it is for people like her that adult education exists.
So no, sadly, I don't think it's an act. Just the way she is, not yet the fully formed person.

The problem with actions like Jades is that it becomes a pattern and offers no alternative way out; therefore she will continue down the path that has been successful in the past in the (*hope*) that she survive further.. Even if the housemates feel that she is no longer the 'trusting' person that she was.. she *still* serves the purpose of being a 'mole' [of sorts] for PJ.. as she will come running back to her masters with information of what is 'going down' on the opposite side. So, in that respect it is in the best interests of PJ & Spencer for her to remain in the house.. until her purpose has been served.
"Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies even closer.." - The cleverer housemates understand this .. Jade is playing the game better than most, but it can only work for so long..

It's as if she knows the basics of the game, indeed life, but doesn't have the knowledge to carry it through.
By trying to stay in with all people is a good ploy but her handling is appalling and she resorts to gossip in a very crass way and is therefore just building herself up for numerous falls (in and out the house no doubt)
I thought she put great effort into the Japanese task tonight - it's a shame there's someone with a level of enthusiasm that the system has bypassed.
Maybe this will be a great learning curve for her

I accept that Jade isn't the smartest monkey in the mokey house, but she is playing up to the fact. When she says something daft and sees the response she gets from the other HMs she doesn't usually get upset or embarrassed - she usually repeats or exaggerates hers original mistake. She's playing the dumb blonde because it gets her attention - I'm not sure it's a big "game plan"
