the Spiderman theme song with the vocalist from Nickleback,
on the other hand, my most hated band of the year has to be NICKLEBACK - and if there at glasto, well i think i might demand a refund/cry...

Shakira - Wherever, whenever. Ace song

The new Coldplay song is good too! Chop Suey by SOD is also a great track, but I'm sure that was released last year.

Idlewild - American English - great great song

Coldplay - In My Place - love that *bit* in it

Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles - just caught this on MTV this week, didn't know who she was, but really liked it in an upbeat piano with strings Tori Amos kind of way

Alanis Morrisette - Hands Clean - one of her best tunes, and love the doesn't-pause-for-a-second video

White Stripes - Hotel Yorba - hadn't really heard much of them til I saw them at Glasto - first new band in ages I actually find myself wanting to listen to repeatedly for any length of time.

..or at least the first 5 that sprung to mind....

There's a great version of Kylie/New Order Blue Monday kicking around - more like Blue Monday with Kylie mixed in than the Can't Get You Out of My Head with Blue Monday mixed in, if you get what I mean.
