Ive got the above deal from Vodafone. Ive got 400 a/t a/n mins, and 1000 texts on the service.

But thats all i really know about the deal - Vodafone havent sent me any details about what numbers/services do and dont come under the included minutes.

The reason i ask is that i was surfing on WAP and thought it might be charging me - yet when i checked the online bill it said the amount of bytes ive used and £0.00.

So if WAP/GPRS free on this deal? If so this will be handy, i can use very slow internet on my laptop when on the move.

if you're browsing "Vodafone Live" via GPRS, it's free.

Leave Vodafone live for 'the real internet' (www) then you will be charged.

I heard all Voda GPRS is free "forever, according to the help desk" on a wap forum yesterday, and have heard people are getting it free outside the Live! pages. Would love someone to confirm this...

When it says '1000 texts' it actually means data use equivalent to sending 1000 texts, so WAP/GPRS use comes out of this allowance. I'm not sure what 1000 texts equals in GPRS terms, but I'm on a 250 text tariff, I use GPRS quite a lot and I've never had to pay to use it.

1000 texts works out at £120, which can be spent on texts, picture messages, video messages and GPRS data, and is equivalent to about 51Megs of data.

I'm also on the 250 bundle and have never been charged for data, though most in a month I've downloaded is around 6-7 megs.
