Nokia 3410 text's problem

My friend has a Nokia 3410 wich was originally on T-Mobile,then got it unlocked.

She is using an o2 sim.

She can not send text's ,it says not sent please try later.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

The message centre number is automatically changed upon putting the SIM card in the phone, unless she has played about with it, that shouldn't be the problem.

Can i have some help about texts on the 3410? please

My mums phone is the 3410 , and after about 4 or 5 messages in her inbox, it states the sim card is full....surely 5 messages is rediculously wrong.

Please help.

yeah 3 in the outbox, thats it, no more folders. Its really strange.

It's not that strange. if the phone has no message memory then it's just down to the sim, the VOD ones can hold 15, but others can be less.

Check outbox, templates etc.

That is the number for contract customers

PAYG uses the O2 message center number +447802092035
