Have to say that I really really hope that Jessica (aka 'evil little blonde troll') doesn't win. Smug isn't the word - add manipulative, back-biting and scheming to that! Does anyone else believe that Ralph is really only 36!? Lesser of 3 evils has to be Michael for me!

I think he had to as she admitted that she didn't know what was going on and how to prepare the other dishes when the swap around took place. I personally think the others were just the same but she was the one who owned up to that fact.
I wish Gordon would have slated the others for not helping her like they help each other, just because they are jealous of her winning tasks!
I was amazed that he said so much in support of her in front of the others and I thought that was really great of him. He has gone back up in my estimation.

Was sad to see Elsie go. I now have my fingers crossed for Ralph.

i don't think at all that gordon plays up to the camera. He is too much of his own person for that kind of crap. I took my son to London a while back and we were stood at the side of claridges - we were lost at the time trying to weigh up were we were- i heard all this screaming and shouting. Guess who..... believe me he's just the same in his kitchen's in private. My son just said looks like Gordon's in then.

she doesn't win
won't spoil anything for anyone by saying who does though.

i must admit i love the way michael is getting all devious. If i was the contestants i'd sleep with one eye open in case i got hit with a frying pan during the night.

TV Times reported last night as the final episode! I hope they realise there is one more to show and don't drop it next week!!!

Just keeping my fingers crossed Ralph doesn't win... really have a dislike for him after the whole '...I don't like Salmon, lets use Haddock' incident!

Ralph is creepy to me. I don't know why but he is. Not overly creepy but there's a sense of creepiness there.
Michael is devious but in a good way i love the expressions on his face when things happen.

Yeah they manage to capture great looks on all their faces ar certain times. Esp when nominating, some of the double takes are great! From what i've seen we are left with the two best chefs, they seem to be able to handle the pressure. I think your summaries of the two are pretty well spot on too!

Ramsey set the two kitchens a task to create their own menu for the evening.

Red kitchen went away, worked as a team, chucked some ideas around and came up with the teams menu.

Blue kitchen went away, Ralph took control, told everybody what was going to be done, rubbished anything anybody else said and just bullied everyone into doing his menu. The Salmon/Haddock came about after Andres suggested a Salmon dish, Ralph immediately said he didn't like it so they would use Haddock.

Phew.... still with me?

Blue team then get beat - Ramsey questions why the Haddock dish (very hard to cook & get perfect) was on the menu... Blue team expect Ralph to stand up and say it was his decision - but no! He blames the team!

Andrew goes nuts.

Ramsey asks Jess to pick someone... Jess picks Andrew, Ramsey picks Ralph and lets them argue. Ralph blames Andrew - Ramsey fires Andrew - Ralph looks smug.

Thats about it I think... if I missed anything, someone please fill in the blanks!

Damn good TV!

Damn, wish I had seen that now, the only thing about Ralph before knowing that was that he seemed a bit too nice. It was funny this week when he "won" the task ,and his prize was to first choice of ingredient!! He was really hoping for a trip out!
Looking final to the final episode now, not sure now who I want to win either!
Am I right in thinking I saw somewhere there is going to be another series?

I think it's good that Micheal wins it - the final episode is going to be a good one.

Is this a joke or the ultimate spoiler

I'm looking forward to the last episode. I hope Michael wins it. Overall I would have wanted Elsie to win it.

I thought it was Halibut, not Haddock.
Although I did like the look on everyones face when Elsie's chicken Soup won over G.R....As did her Turkey Taco's in the starter....My money's been on Ralph or Mike all along.Andrew was just too much of a a****** & always thought he knew better & as for the Executive Chef! One only has to look at the Executive Chef in the last 'Kitchen Nightmares' with the Exec Chef driving a Beemer with personal plates that G.R flogged to Gary Rhodes!!

I am really enjoying the kitchen. I think Gordon is fair and was very touched when Elsie left how nice he was to her. I was sorry Jessica went, but then I think she realised it was all too much for her, but I think its a bit below the belt for a previous post to knock her because she is gay! what has that got to do with anything. I hope Michael wins, I think in the past its obvious how underhanded Ralph is.

Great show. I think in the end, the best man won. (Even though I was previously rooting for Ralph) I ended up wanting Michael to win and I think overall he deserved it the most.

Great show...spoilt for me quite a bit as I knew weeks ago who won thanks to a poster on here... but my OH didn't know and loved it, so it was fun watching his face. And the best guy did win I think.

I avoided this board until tonight though as I did not want to know anything else!

Guys...spoiler tags for the next series would be nice for those of us who want to chat about it but do not want to know who won 5 weeks in advance.

I'm pleased that Michael won. I am just very annoyed that that was revealed by a poster on this thread. Prat
