I think the intruder was hushed up because of legal proceedings being taken against him/her. I don't know why admitting it happened would be bad, but I read that was the reason.

Yup. The whole thing is about spin control now, IMHO. Phil Edgar-Jones (Exec Producer of BB3) saying that the bars were only meant for the middle of the series for one -- originally telling the housemates specifically it was for the whole series. BBLB's gag order on mentioning the whatever-it-was between Jade and PJ. The intruder. The rebellion before Sandy's departure.

They're obviously trying to keep credibility with the HMs with a hard-line attitude, as otherwise more rebellion will happen. The viewers, on the other hand, are a different matter. I wish an independent production team would make "Big Brother's Big Brother" -- a reality TV show about the BB3 producers...
